We really enjoy the Veranda

The Veranda has been a consistently good restaurant in Kingwood. They are honest and the food is great. The atmosphere is warm and not at all crowded like Cafe Dubois. You get a lot of food for the money. I would higly recommend eating there.

It was a wonderful dinner, crab cakes, salad, salmon and a beautiful bottle of Pinot noir and coffee. Wonderful service and an intimate setting. Make a reservation, everything is prepared fresh and everything was delicious.

The Veranda is a favorite for special occasions. The ambiance provides for quiet conversation, decor is traditional, food was superb, and service impeccable. We were treated to an after dinner drink in celebration of our anniversary. Very impressed with this dining experience!

OUCH, about sums it up. An poor attempt at high-end dining. I had a filet and I will say that the quality of the beef is very, very good. However, preparation and presentation were pathetic. There is apparently no choice as far as side dishes. I had a very small vegetable and teaspoon of what might pass for mashed potatoes.... More

This restaurant wants to be fine dining but falls short. Black table cloths and high prices do not qualify for fine dining. We were greeted by the hostess who also was our server. Our table was near the kitchen and when the door swung open, it blinded us. We had to hail our server over to order drinks (beer and... More

Girls lunch. Food was wonderful, as was the presentation. Pat made everyone comfortable. Will definitely go back.

We had friends who introduced us to this restaurant. Both of us purchased a coupon for use in January. They have a wonderful twist on some traditional foods such as Fire and Ice shrimp or the Diablo filet. The portions are a good size. The rolls are wonderful as well. I really liked the owners and the staff. A great... More

The Veranda, not only is the food consistently great, the service is knock-your-socks-off good. Family run and inspired dishes knock it out of the park for any occasion. With choices like steak Diablo, fire and ice shrimp, drunken quail, and chicken jubilee, you can't go wrong! Make sure to call ahead for reservations, they are often booked up and that... More

off the beaten path, this family owned and operated restaurant in Kingwood, TX has a cozy, home feeling atmosphere that is comfortable, business casual and easy going. Better than the great atmosphere, is the service and food. The chef and restaurant have received several awards for their dishes. Don't miss the Fire and Ice appetizer. I've had several of their... We really enjoy singing at Veranda. The setting is intimate, great food and wonderful service. The owners have created an enjoyable sink g experience. The wine list is good, and the chef does a great job.
