Hungry and needing some italian food, I entered Nundini's with great expectations. After a brief look at the menu, I chose a Parma ciabatta sandwich. Meanwhile, at the table next to me, other guests were happily devouring their pasta dishes, when my ciabatta arrived, I was so amazed and happy! Great toasted bread, no too much, just what is needed, and... More

I have been more than once to Nundini's together with my husband and friends and noticed the constant research on changing and improving his menu. My preferences are for the pasta plates with seafood but I can't say that the main dishes are less tasty. Participating to the wine tasting dinners is an amazing experience and the new bar with... We went during the week - lots of open tables and (2) servers working. We had the spaghetti allo scoglio, Vitello alla milanese and the gnocchi formaggi.. The spaghetti was decent but could have been a bit more flavorful in my opinion. However, it was not bad by any means Vitello (thin sliced breaded veal, think schnitzel) tasted good. Gnocchi was... Nundini's is my favorite restaurant in Houston. Very friendly staff who are knowledgeable about all the variety of Italian wines carried at the store/restaurant. The food is spectacular. I've never had a bad meal. If you're lucky the owner, Nundini, will pull up a chair and talk to you. Great guy with really interesting stories. We often introduce friends to... More

Nundini's was recommended to me by a friend. My wife and I went during restaurant week and I had a selection off the dinner menu for lunch. The Pork Osso Buco (only available during restaraunt week in 2015) was by far the best meal I have had in Houston. I have since been back several times and the other menu... More

This restaurant is very deceiving from the outside. Inside it is a lovely, warm atmosphere where tables are surrounded by fine wine offerings from all of Italy. The staff was attentive and engaging. My husband and I are born and bred New Yorkers of Italian descent, we know the food of our heritage. After ordering a lovely bottle of Amarone... More

The restaurant is very easy to find. The service was wonderful. We could hear each other speak. Started the meal with the Cozze Alle Livornese (Mussels). Could have made a meal off of them. The main course was Girelle San Marino, which was Girelle pasta with Garlic, Mushrooms, Artichokes and Fresh Tomatoes. There was enough to share with my husband... More

Nundini's is at the front end of a group of small warehouses just off I-10 and Shepherd to the north. It begin as an Italian import along with their warehouse. Then they added a deli with wonderful cold cuts and cheeses and spumoni. About 3 yrs ago they opened a restaurant with about 15 tables. The menu is excellent authentic... More

Small little place attached to a warehouse. Deli in front. Small quaint dining area in back. Great friendly personable service. Visited for restaurant weeks. Got the 3 course lunch menu. Yummy bread. Delicious tomato basil soup served in an adorable pot. Did not care for the pork loin. It was chewy and the grey color was not appetizing. Didn't taste... More

My husband and I went today for lunch and ate from the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu. Both of us had delicious meals and are now stuffed! We will be back.
