We visited this place with a couple of friends from the family and the prices were very inexpensive , the food was average and the customer service was nonexistent it is OK to go when there’s nothing else to do in town.

If you follow strict buddhist diet, (no eggs, leaks, onions, garlics) this the place. Everything on the menu is delicious. Prices are very fair. We had a great chat with Kim,the manager about the restaurant. They make their soup stock fresh evveryday.
This is a combination tofu factory, grocery store, and café. All vegetarian. The tofu from here is sold in Hong Kong Market and other area stores, but buying it fresh right here at the factory is the best. It is fabulous! If you come before...they are sold out, they also make versions with lemongrass or mushrooms in it. Also, very soft pudding-like tofu. The grocery store has limited items, but it is all vegetarian. You can generally find the same things at Hong Kong Market or other Chinatown grocery stores, but if you are vegetarian, and especially if you don't read Chinese, then it is convenient to shop here. I haven't eaten much at the café, but I did try their banh mi (Vietnamese sandwiches), and they were very good. Most banh mi places will provide a tofu version for vegetarians, but here they have about 7 or 8 different versions using not only tofu but also other vegetarian meat analogs. I look forward to returning and trying others. The grocery store part of the business also sells ready-to-eat cold meals, usually noodles with tofu and vegetables and a sauce. These are delicious, and welcomed by vegetarians since the analogous items in the area stores usually have pork in them. Overall, a great resource and worth trying even if you aren't a vegetarian!More
This came recommended, but the veggies were overcooked and there was cilantro on two dishes despite my request. Quan Yin, which is nearby, is much better. I'm sorry to say this.
I cannot get enough of this place. Seriously, if you are vegetarian this place is for you. I come here for their lunch combo, and take away congee. A plate of brown rice with three sides, plus soup AND warm tea for $7?! It blows...my mind. Plus try their nutritious congee. In terms of ambiance it's like a cafe, no frill and can be crowded. But I will come back, again and again!More
There might not be enough adjectives for me to review this quick service restaurant! Very popular place, really casual setting, friendly service, tasty food, extremely reasonable prices, large servings, attentive staff... I didn't know what to order from the serving case so I asked the...smiling, obliging lady behind the counter to choose for me. What I received was a plate piled high with absolutely delicious vegetarian food. I'm not sure what any of it was called as the choices in the case are not labeled, but I think I'll use this same tactic on each occasion we visit San San Tofu. We'll be back on our next (and the next, and the next) visit to Houston!More
Their daily lunch special has many buffet items to chose from. You can choose 4 dishes, plus soup and tea all for about $7. The hours are approximately 10 am to 1 pm for the buffet - but come early because the food can run...out after 12:30. I come here every week - it's my favorite vegetarian restaurant. They also have a lot of dim sum dishes, and thome-made tofu. They have a big freezer where you can buy your veggie meats at reasonable prices. They also have meals in their refrigerator section. A great place to have a good veggie meal.More
