For a chain Thai place Thai Spice in the Heights is very authentic. The chicken curry puff is a must!

I love the fact that there so much diversity in Houston, which leads me me to Thai Spice. Always fresh and always good tasting foods. I enjoy the flavors of thai food so much more, and trying new dishes.
Best asian food in the Heights, hands down! The price point is a little high but the quality is high as well. Try the Yellow curry and the pineapple fried rice!
I loved the Pho. It was pretty close to authentic homemade Vietnamese pho. Don't forget to ask for the sriracha, hoisin and extra limes. For $9 I felt like I was getting a bargain. My husband and I ordered the dumplings to share as an...appetizer; they were much smaller than we were expecting, but tasty all the same.More
Driven by this place a million times so decided to give it a try. The appetizers chosen were the goyza and spring rolls. Thai catfish and Thai fried rice were both tasty with the rice being the most unusual with the fresh lime and red...onion and pork. Great service and a brisk to go business too. Try it!More
Consistently good take out in the area for a good price. Around $20 for 2 dishes . We normally have the chicken pad Thai / chicken Lo mein. Beef with peanut sauce used to be good but quality of beef seems to have dropped so...scratch that . This time had shrimp tempura starter ok. Overall a good choice if you are staying in. My wife doesn't like spicy so the yellow chicken curry is good so give that a tryMore
Service was excellent, everyone was courteous and provided impeccable service. The green tea was very good. The salad, soup & eggrolls first were good. I had the spicy seafood lunch special, requested extra heat. It still came out fairly mild. The seafood was slightly overdone....I would come back but try a different dish...More
Variety of menu dishes at lunch with budget prices. Good food for vegetarian and not vegetarian choices. Portions are big so I am always taking half home. Service is great.
Everything I had was excellent. It's not the best Thai food that I've had but I still enjoyed it very much. The place is very clean and the staff are friendly. I will return.
Normally I really enjoy going here since it is close and fairly good Thai for the money. However we were disappointed at our last visit due to the terrible service. It is usually very good but I'm not sure what was going on this night......We sat in the middle and no one seemed to know who's section it was - the manager finally came and took our initial order but then never came back. Another lady came by and we ordered a sushi roll which never came - they forgot us! My recommendation if you go is to sit around the outside tables or you might be forgotten as well! Unfortunately now we won't be back for awhile and I do like to go on Saturdays for the special Angel wings!More
So tonight I was calling in a delivery order with Thai Spice to get a curry and pretty excited about it because the food is good. Don't get me wrong, I like their food a lot, but the staff has officially put a bad taste...in my mouth. Listed on the website it says "Delivery until 9:30" and yet when I called in my order, they said they were no longer taking delivery and the time was 9:10... but the menu says... "the menu is wrong"... but the website says... "the website is wrong". So I asked to the speak to the manager and they delivered him without putting me on hold. So I begin to voice my concern and he said the actual last call for delivery is 8:40 not 9:30 because the delivery drivers don't go out later. When I began to say that this is not a great business plan and asked the manager's name, he began to talk over me and berate me. After asking 10 times for his name he clearly threw the phone from the crash I heard and the first gentleman came back on. He said the manager's name was Ruk and his was Ham. I told him his manager was not the best in which he responded while hanging up on me that I'm a "rude @&% mother$@%&#$". I was so appalled at the situation I emailed the owners immediately to tell them of this and it took three attempts for it to actually go through. As much as I like the food, DO NOT GO!More
Thai Spice is part of a local chain of Thai/Asian restaurants in the area. The items are reasonably priced and fairly fresh. It is good but not the best in the city.
Great place for Thai food. Keep in mind that everything is made fresh so allow time to cook. Very healthy yet still very tasty. nice atmosphere and great service
Decent sushi/Thai in the Heights. Friendly, quick service is appreciated when dining with a toddler. This appears to be a family friendly place, so why no changing table in the restrooms?
my daughter and I had dinner at Thai spice. It was good but not the best I've ever had. The soup, Tom ka kai was very good. When it came to the main meal,it was a different story. I had a green curry seafood dish...and my daughter had a chicken dish. They were good but not a wow. The menu gives you 5 levels of heat. I got 3 which should have been pretty spicy. It was not. I needed to get a side of chili oil to crank up the heat. The quantity was so-so. I think it was overpriced for what I actually received. The bill for the 2 of us was 60 dollars. My daughter got a $10 glass of wine and got a small serving in a big glass. This will be a place we will not go back to..mediocre food, high prices, small portions. Who charges $10 for a plate of fried rice?????? Really??More
