At this place one evening, it was the luck of the draw and all hinged on what each of us picked from the menu. All the food was at least still warm when we picked it up. The chicken in the General Tso was quite...dry and the sauce served with it didn’t fix that. The Moo Shoo with pork and the Hunan style beef both got raves once at home. Both were by far the better choices in terms of their flavors and freshness. The steamed white rice and brown rice were both good but not great. The public space inside appeared clean and the staff didn’t mix up our order. We most appreciated the accurate order filling and the varied menu. More than likely, we’ll be back to try our luck again.More

I have ordered takeout from here twice since my last review and both times there has been a problem. The food, as always is good, but the orders have been messed up. The 1st time, they returned to deliver what was left off the order...but this time they barely listened when I told him some items I ordered were left off the delivery. He asked me to search again in the bags where the condiments were and I told him I found the condiment bag but not the eggrolls, he said to me, "well, OK as long as you found them!" What? As I tried to explain to him he was already hanging up the phone and I had company, so I did not bother to call back and I will not bother to order from them again. I think the real problem is that the menu online is not the same as what they think it is because when I called them before I ordered to clarify an option, I was told it was not available even though it was clearly online. Once I informed the person on the phone, she only said, "Okay, if that's what it said!" I guess they are too busy to get it right or not concerned whether they lose my business or not. Either way, there are too many other options for me to worry about their reason.More

Lots of menu choices. Generous portions. Fairly priced. Small cafe. Fast service. Subscribed to the awesome online phone app to order with supreme ease ( called "Beyond Menu"). Everything we have tasted so far has been very good. Husbands fave is mongolian shrimp and says...it's the best he's had anywhere. I'm trying diff things and so far bd can highly recommend their special wonton, special fried rice and sesame chicken. Crab puffs are great and so are the spring rolls. Will be a regular customer.More

After dining in the last time we visited, we decided to go back to take out and it was awesome! I always order more food than we need but I love it even more the next day! The Gen. Tso is always a favorite but...their combo rice is very good as well. To make the great food better, we got our food fast and very hot!! This is the place for great Chinese food! As I have eaten here over the years, I have tried many different items on the menu and have not been disappointed. The only drawback I have found is in ordering from the online menu through a 3rd party. It does not include all the options and you pretty much have to know the menu and add comments to get your order right. Optionally, you can just call.More

My wife and I have ordered takeout here for years so we decided to actually eat "in" this time! The food was good, as usual, but I was surprised at how small the dining area was. So small that there were boxes stacked up front...that should probably be in the back out of sight. Service was OK and casual, but I am guessing takeout is their focus. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. We will continue to eat here but probably will opt for takeout. That being said they had plenty of diners there, with a few that seemed to be regulars.More

My family and I love the China Inn Café. We get it at least once a month. They deliver fast and hot. You can order it and go pick it up even faster. The people are friendly and eager to get it right.

I don't know where they got this photo for this restaurant but it looks nothing like this at all. Anyway, I ate here with my husband and 2 adult children recently and the food was good but the service was awkward. We were seated by...the window on an unseasonably cold day and it was kind of drafty there. Luckily I was wearing a hoodie, my husband was cold though so he ordered the hot tea, the kids got iced teas and I ordered water. We ordered a family meal and the waitress commented about how tiny our table was for 4 people but never offered to move us to a bigger more suitable table, she just kept complaining about it everytime she came to bring us food. The meals were good but there were not served with plates so it made sharing difficult. I especially liked the appetizers, the spring rolls and the chicken wings, but my sweet and sour chicken was lacking salt. When it came time to refill the drinks, the waitress refilled us all with water, I guess tea refills cost too much so rather than asking, this is what they do here, water down your tea. I've seen this comment on other reviews. I find it cheap on the restaurant's part and very inappropriate. It's probably not a place I would visit again.More

We ate at China Inn Cafe on Friday the 31st & were very happy! We usually get take-out from New Chinatown Restaurant on Highway 6, but haven't enjoyed them the last few times, so we tried this place. We enjoyed our whole meal w/ very...few issues. We thought the BBQ Spare ribs were too sticky & unmanageble & the sweet & sour chicken needed some salt to bring out the flavor, but other than that the food was very enjoyable. The pork fried rice was awesome, (& that has been something we have had trouble finding at other Chinese restaurants). The other places have fried rice, but it's usually not very good. We also had the Mongolian Beef & it was quite tasty. On Sat. night I wanted more fried rice, so I ordered some w/ the Sweet & Sour Ribs & we were much happier w/ them over the BBQ Ribs. They had a better flavor & were not as sticky & messy! The wonton & egg drop soup were enjoyable, as was the crab rangoon. I could take or leave thier spring rolls, (but I'm an egg roll man anyway, so don't read too much into that!). The service was very good & the counter/checkout area people were also very pleasant & nice. This WILL be our new Chinese restaurant from here on out!!More
