I brought my sister and her toddler visiting Houston here for lunch. The food was delicious. Nothing to complain about. The roasted lamb is a must! My sister got the salmon and said she should have gotten the lamb as well. I've never had lamb cooked so tender before. It may seem a little expensive, but the service and the... More

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. The place is lovely and the ambiance is very sexy. We love bar area that opens up to the kitchen. We got the 7 course tasting menu. Everything was absolutely delicious and the it was more than enough food. We will definitely be back. Out favorite dishes was the sea bass,... More

We had looked very much forward to visiting this restaurant that came highly recommend by good friends... Unfortunately, 10 minutes into our experience the unthinkable happened, as the worlds leading energy metropole got hit by a Power Outage... The ovens and grills kept working but the AC and extraction fans stopped and the temperature in the room came close to... More

Everything about this restaurant is worthy of commenting. We came here during the Houston Restaurant month and their menu was nothing short of fantastic. The food was really delicious. And the service is impeccable. If you are looking for a place to celebrate your spouse's birthday or your anniversary, you found the right place! You can't beat the romantic ambience... More

Board meeting at lunch with 3 entrée selections. All French based items but text in English so no problem understanding. Beautiful interior decor with a very inviting seating around the chefs preparation area. Presentation is impressive also. Portions provided at lunch seemed small but actually just right. Very tasty food. Unlike anywhere else I have been. I will come back... More

We chose this for a NYE dinner and didn't regret it. The ambiance was nice and service lovely. The food is as you would expect it, understandably overpriced given you want French in Texas .. I don't remember what we had so I guess it wasn't particularly amazing but I remember having a nice evening and that's good enough (I... More

Though we were staying some distance away, at the Marriott Medical Center, we opted for dinner at Artisans, and are glad that we did. It was well-worth the cab ride (even if the driver did get lost twice). We arrived for our early dinner reservation, and were promptly seated. While we poured over the menu options, we started with two... More

A lovely French restaurant serving up traditional and contemporary French fares. Scallops appertizers was ok. My entree was a variety of meat & some veg, was a bit salty for my tastebud. The lady had a fish dish which was good. Attentive service, above average pricing. I'd say give it a whirl!

Wonderful french cuisine! Some dishes come from the traditional french cooking, others are more original. But everything is tasty and well presented. The place is decorated with elegance, and waiters and waitresses friendly and helpful if you want to learn more about the food. I think Artisans is one of the very best restaurants in Houston.

Have visited for lunch and dinner on a few occasions in the last couple of years. Always met or exceeded my expectations. Artfully and meticulously prepared dishes. Well selected wine list. Very very well trained service staff. Sophisticated, well thought out interior design. Out of reach of any competition. Truly French culinary oasis in Houston.

Thank vklen
