This is a burlesque-type show with about 8 performers who dance and sing and strip to the bare minimum while you enjoy a delicious prix fix meal. It was quite entertaining and the meal was really delicious. At times the music/sound was too loud and...More

This was my first burlesque show and I wasn’t really sure what to expect. On top of the cost of your ticket was the cost of food. I think for us it was a three course which was $45. We arrived there early, but that...More

We arrived dressed to the nine’s in our 1920’s best, and were able to park directly across the street. Parking fluctuated between $10 and $20. When you first step inside the building there is a photo op, so have your cell phone ready, it makes...More

The Sunday morning brunch was very entertaining. The emcee was very funny and raunchy and kept the crowd engaged and entertained. The dancers were in great shape and performed well...no nudity, just burlesque fun. The buffet was forgettable...pretty much tasteless and cold...a random spread of...More

Inspired by American hotel lobbies and European cafes of the 1920s, Prohibition Supperclub & Bar is situated in the historic ISIS Theatre by the Theatre District in downtown Houston. We specialize in nostalgic and decadent cuisine with new takes on American classics, seafood and downtown's only raw bar of fresh oysters and crudo. Combined with an extensive bar program of classic cocktails, large selection of single malts, whiskeys, bottled craft beer, and boutique wines, we offer a unique destination for dinner or special events. Reserve your table then stay late for a great bar scene! Originally built in 1912, this space holds significance to Houston's history as Houston's first theatre. Paying tribute to this, Prohibition will continue to use this space as its very own theatre room & special events space. Many of the original artifacts and wall plasters dating back to 1912 have been retained, which provides for a unique space and will be Prohibition's main banquet hall, perfect for hosting live performances, weddings, theatre events, as well as corporate events...Limitless celebrations in a multifunctional space.
