During the world cup it was a zoo, full to the rafters with the only parking blocks away from the place and the service suffered some because of the packed crowds. They managed as best they could but I am looking forward to going when...More

My favorite brewpub in town, all the soccer games, chicken fried chicken, craft beers, and great mixed drinks one could want. A great staff and all the soccer loving expats with their funny accents and enthusiasm for teams I have never heard of. Don't miss...More

The food was delicious, meat was tender and tasty as well as the fixings! Vu runs a nice friendly pub, Quinton is a great chef and the staff is quick on the refills! In house Brews are awesome, try them all!

I came here to try their house beers, but I seemed to have stumbled onto a small office party and a packed house. I squeezed in at the bar and talked to the bartender about their home brews. They had several such offerings but no...More

We absolutely LOVE The Phoenix on Westheimer!! While most pass it off as just another brewpub, they actually have an incredible menu. With lots of vegetarian options too!! They have started to brew their own beer, which is super tasty. On big game nights, you...More

This is a particularly good spot for a late bite. I love their chicken fried chicken, burgers and chicken quesadilla, but everything is good and cooked to order. Reasonable prices for the beers and house wines. It is a sports bar/pub, so be prepared for...More

Description
Welcome friends. The Phoenix on Westheimer is formerly known as the Firkin and Phoenix. Firkin Die-Hards will always call it the Firkin. Many of you have noticed the cosmetic changes that came with the name change. It's the still same great bar, owners and staff. For those who have never stopped in, come and make it your home away from home. NOW BREWING! - As of January 14, 2015, the Phoenix became a brewpub. We started selling our Kinfolk (Kolsch style) beer on February 17, 2015. Come checkout the latest changes to the pub and sample our house made beer! Opened in December 2006, The Phoenix is a neighborhood pub with a relaxed and jovial atmosphere. We want to be your home away from home, a welcoming place to meet your friends for a pint, some fine food and a good time. We offer a wide selection of bottled and draught beers on tap as well as wines and cocktails. Our extensive menu includes traditional pub favourites such as fish'n'chips, shepherd's pie and bangers and mash, as well as burgers and salads. We also provide a number of different ways to unwind, from darts, billiards and ping pong. For you sports fans, we have 12 LCD TVs throughout the pub, as well as 4 projectors for those big games.
