We went to dinner with another couple we had not seen in quite some time. It was a great meal and very energetic atmosphere. The food was excellent. We had the foie gras and tuna tartare as appetizers, which were excellent. My wife and I both decided to have the duck and were incredibly surprised with how good it came... More

We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed great food and fabulous service on the patio. Eric, our server, was courteous and cheerful. The roasted beet salad was light and fresh. The tuna tartare was also lovely. The highlight of our meal was the special of quail with butternut squash and barley. It was absolutely delicious. I just wish I had... More

Work associates had spoken highly about this place, and it didn't meet expectation. The ribeye came out over prepared, and it was soaked in an untasty sauce. The ribeye would be much more tasty without it. The sides were bland. The potatoes and sautéed spinach were flavorless.

Had a fantastic brunch on Sunday. The food was exceptional and the location is charming. It felt like a Left Bank Paris place. The staff was very friendly. And the French 75's were delicious. Kudo's to "Cupcake"!

Every time I visit Houston I always have dinner there. food is consistently very good, always nice oysters on the menu, good food and good wine list to choose from. It's always good to follow the dinner by a drink at local pour, which is a walking distance.

One of Houston's top places to see and be seen. Fabulous food, and they're always happy to cater for individual requests too. The wine list is very extensive with something for every taste and occasion. This is a place for dressing up, but bring a coat if you're sat inside as the aircon is always so low that even the... Brasserie 19 is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston, and my wife and I come here with some frequency, particularly for brunch (which is amazing here). The ambiance is great here, as is the people watching (it's one of the places to see and be seen in Houston). The food is consistently great, and the brunch is surprisingly affordable... More

Description
Brasserie 19, located in Houston’s 77019 neighborhood, offers a modern amalgamation of French brasserie fare and well-known American influences. The chef-driven menu utilizes the freshest seasonal ingredients in thoughtfully prepared dishes. Brasserie 19 boasts an expansive, carefully developed wine list dedicated to pricing just above retail – a philosophy pioneered by owners Charles Clark and Grant Cooper upon opening their first restaurant, Ibiza Food & Wine Bar. Brasserie 19's sophisticated yet unpretentious interiors are bathed in cool greys and whites, with antiqued wood and white marble used throughout. Grey leather banquettes and comfortable chairs are paired with white linen and butcher paper-covered tables create a casually elegant setting for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Brasserie 19 will serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Sundays.
