My wife and I wanted a quaint dinner with family to celebrate my birthday this week. One of our favorite restaurants in our worldly travels is a very similar restaurant in Paris, Le Petit Troque. We decided that this would be perfect for six of us to enjoy an evening of wonderful food, drink and conversation. We were all quite... More

We came with recommendation and were pleased with the experience. The service was nice and attentive. Our dinner was delicious with the yummy homemade bread. We had the wonderful sorbet with fruits to end a wonderful dinner!

This restaurant is located in a small house in a residential area. Secluded, quiet place to have a nice meal. They offer very good dishes, and also very good deserts. Wine list, of course is very complete. Personnel is very attentive, and the whole experience makes you come back.

The food is outstanding (even if the French Onion soup was over-salted) and the service is very relaxed and conducive to a pleasant evening. Nice wines. We had the Chilean Sea Bass and Scottish Salmon; they were excellent.

My family and I went there for lunch during restaurant week and we had a great time. Our server was very friendly and the restaurant was very cute! It was relaxing and really made me feel like I was sitting in a restaurant in Paris! The place is not big but it was cozy. We had all ordered the onion... More

We returned to Au Petit Paris for an intimate dinner for two. Hidden in a residential street, located in a small house, the dining area is small, cozy and is quiet enough to allow conversation (rare in Houston!). We started with the Napoleon of Lobster, a creation of the chef that deserves many repeats. The escargots in puff pastry are... More

I have been twice now during Houston Restaurant Weeks and this place is just utterly charming. It is in a small bungalow with a really good menu and a nice wine selection. The coq Au vin was superb.

Never again! I made a reservation six days in advance only to arrive and be told that they did not have our reservation noted! I personally called (they do not use Open Table) and made the reservation directly with a manager. I showed the hostess proof of my call, still to no avail. What's worse is that my wife called... A friend highly recommended this place for the ambience ("it's a lot like a real Paris bistro"), so we finally gave it a try during Houston restaurant weeks. It was mediocre at best. The interior WAS charming. The bistro is in an old house, so the dining rooms are broken up, creating intimacy. The decor was also nice. But our... More

Quaint restaurant located in a old home which has been converted. Food was wonderful and staff very attentive. It was a little noisy due to the smaller sized room we were in, but nothing that messed up the evening. We hadn't noticed it before since it's not on a main road, but definitely worth looking up.
