Visited this place once at lunch and found the food nothing special. The items we had were not cooked to order and seemed to have been held since at least from the day before. No reason to visit again

Here for business and I'm never optimistic about finding an interesting meal in Houston. Tex-Mex or Waffle House seem to be the choices. So was thrilled to find this gem serving South African food. Had the Kingklip fish (never heard of it before) with baby...More

The flavor of the food was superb and authentic!!! The sweet peppers they give you to eat along with your food, brings out the flavor even more so. Great service and Great location!

I enjoy the food and the service is the restaurant. The chicken wings are to die for and so tasty and delicious. I love coleslaw but the mango coleslaw here took my love of this salad to a new level. The seafood appetizers were delicious....More

I'm salivating while writing this just thinking of the Espetada flavors and textures! but you can go further and explore the South African sausages and samosas, you won't regret it. The SA wines are delightful as well. We've been there a couple of times and...More

We have dined here many times. Although the men usually like the steak, I prefer the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer for my meal. Must get the large Peli Peli special sharable appetizer for the group as it offers a bit of different options for everyone...More

I have been and this is definitely Americanized and toned down for us. I find it mediocre at best. used to be much better.

They do. The Bobotie is outstanding and it's Curried Boca, Carrots, pastry top, and mango chutney. Also, the staff will remove meat from any fish and add extra veggies if you ask.
