I was in Houston a few days last week for business. I was hungry for some Thai food one evening and found Naam Kaho on Tripadvisor. Because of COVID, I decided to order to go. First about the dish - I ordered crab fried rice....It was super delicious and great portion. They are also generous with their crab meat than any other places I have been to. One thing I did regret though - I wish I would dine in. The restaurant has a nice outdoor sitting as well as a nice bar inside. When I visit next time, I will choose to dine in to get a full experience.More
There are a lot of thai places in west houston and around the energy corridor overall. Most of them cater to westerners so its like eating thai food at the airport. Naam Khao has Thai chefs who make traditional Thai food. You can tell because...there are always a lot of Thai people eating here. This is a restaurant by day and karaoke bar by night. This is the only Thai restaurant who can make you cry if you ask for the maximum level of spicy. No other thai restaurant in Houston will do it. .More
You can measure the authenticity of the food by the number of Thai customers. This is authentic Thai food. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. Order your food as mild or Thai hot if you're brave enough. Great beer selection to cool off the...peppers!More
This is a great little restaurant. Always kept clean. Menu has a lot of meat, vegetarian and vegan options. I eat here frequently for lunch or supper after work. They even have a small bar so if you need a beverage you’re covered. Wait staff...are friendly. Always plenty of room. One of my favorite places to take my team out to eat!More
Do not judge this place on its interior because the food and service are great.
Really friendly staff and menu offers a good choice.
Chicken satay was good but the soup was even better. The red curry with shrimp was spicy (we ordered “hot”) and...full of flavors.
This restaurant is a winner!More
Food was tasty. We ordered our dishes “spicy “ and they were perfect. Our soft spring rolls were OK, but the rest - papaya salad, eggplant/shrimp curry, chicken cashew- were great. The fact that it is a bar helped too : good selection of beers...etc.More
