Owned by the same family for many years. One of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in. Love the cowboy enchiladas. Good cold beer.
Our meals of the cowboy enchilada were awesome. We nearly licked our plates clean! We are right after two on a Friday afternoon. The place was not busy but there were enough folks there to let you know that it was a good place. Would like to have had a few more chips but we didn't ask for a refill.
Mexican food here is pretty darn good. Ate the soft chircken tacos with a side of guacamole. The chicken was moist and tasty. The guacamole was good spicy with bits of jalapeno in it. My husband alwasy eats the cowboy enchiladas. Their chips are always fresh and crunchy and their hot sauce is really good. Most important when you eat... More
Not sure what all the fuss about this place is? Terrible Mexican food, tiny portions, zero flavour, that tastes like Ortega seasoning packets that my mom used to use for making 'Mexican food' in the 80's. Seriously... This place was letdown. Save your cash and keep driving
Food was pretty average best thing was the chips, so that pretty much says it. I had the cowboy chilli which was a enchilada with some chilli mixed in it, the rice was good. Service was good, the restaurant seem well runned.
The price is right, the portions are just right and the food is great! I have not gotten a disappointing meal there!! The owners and staff are warm and friendly. Just ate there today at lunch with my husband.
The fajitas and enchiladas were awesome. The servings were very plentiful and the waitstaff very accomodating. I've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while. On a recent trip to Hondo, my wife and I tried it and we were both very pleased with our experience and the cuisine.
