this is for the Oldwest Café at 1020 Dallas Drive. Got up at 3AM, flew out of Kansas City at 5AM, landed in DFW, then drove straight to this place with two friends. WOW! I had the Hearty Pan and was full until supper. Great décor, great service (thanks Jordan), and great food. Best breakfast in Texas!

A favorite place for a delicious and large breakfast. Service with a smile, never rushed. Always good, plentiful and crowded.

Great southern breakfast options but also have unexpected combos. Its usually hard to do a unique version of traditional breakfast but these guys have it figured out.

Since moving to Grapevine 2 years ago we have regularly enjoyed a hearty, county breakfast at Oldwest Cafe, even though we almost always have to wait 30+ minutes for a table. Food and service are consistently excellent making it our favorite stop for breakfast.

The food and service at Old West Cafe is really good. The only negative is that it's not open in the evening!

Went with a large group. We had to wait for a while (45 minutes) for our table. The food was terrific. I had the spicy panhandler. Our waitress did a masterful job of handling our large group. Food came out quickly. I highly recommend Old West Cafe.

I've eaten breakfast here a couple times and both times have been a good experience. If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth I recommend the almond-crisp (w/bananas) or cinnamon-crisp (w/strawberries) french toast. The breakfast portions are TX sized so you may want to consider splitting a plate if you have a smaller appetite. This is a very popular breakfast... More

Found this place based on reviews here. It was the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I had the stagecoach which is biscuits and sausage gravy with hash browns scrambled eggs cheese jalapeño and I added chorizo. They were not kidding about the size, I shouldn't have ate it all but I couldn't help myself.. it was just... More

Okay, first, plan when you want to go here. IF you go after 9am on a weekend, plan on a wait. During the week, 6am -9am seems to be the busier time. The Grapevine location is in a corner strip-mall lot and the parking is tight. Second, its gonna take you some time to go over the extensive menu. They... More

Wonderful! First place I hit after flying in from Philly. No breakfast places in Philly come close. The food and atmosphere was amazing and being Georgia born I missed the charming southern accents. The waitress called us all sugar and our meal portions were enormous. Bring an appetite and leave with a doggie bag.
