The food on this Friday night was excellent. We had escargot as an appetizer, scallops and short ribs for dinner, and profiteroles for dessert. It was very full (perhaps expected on a Friday) and very noisy with poor acoustics, background music, and later a saxophone...player. Perhaps as a consequence of the full house, the service felt rushed, and the waiter was in too much of a hurry to even suggest coffee with our dessert. In addition the tables are very small such that we had trouble finding room to put our glasses and plates. Go for the food, but this would not be the place for a business meal or a romantic evening where you expect to talk.More

Brunch in Grapevine at Chez Fabien and boy was it GREAT! I start with a delicious cappuccino. Both the wife and I got the Smoked Ham Crêpe; Smoked Ham, Mornay Sauce, Swiss Cheese, and Two Fried Eggs on Top. Served with Country Breakfast Potatoes. I...add extra crispy bacon, of course. Huge portions well executed and cooked to order properly. The table next to us got the chicken and waffles. OH MY! This will definitely require a repeat visit!More

Really liked the quiche and french onion soup but the service was so slow it took almost one hour from the time we sat down until we got our food. We looked around and other people were also making comments about how bad the service...was. We ordered a cup of soup and a meal but everything came at once so the quiche was cold by the time I finished my soup. The waiter would refill my tea knowing there was no ice in it and never say a word. This was our first time visiting this restaurant and as a resident of Grapevine I was really disappointed.More

Celebrating Bastille Day at Chez Fabien, which offered a special celebratory menu. Great wine specials and the smoked ham and gruyere crepe was delicious. Our server, David, was very attentive and personable, and we enjoyed a lovely evening at our little bistro table out front...on the sidewalk. Masks required to enter, and social distancing observed - thank you!!More

We've lived in Grapevine for years, but for some reason, we've never walked inside Chez Fabien. What a wonderful discovery. This place is fantastic. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. The menu had so many wonderful selections that we had a hard...time deciding. We settled on the Santa Monica and the Club Panini. We will definitely be back to try more things. The connected bakery next door is also excellent.More

It's very hard to find a good authentic French restaurant. This place is unique and authentic! I love it! The Croque Madame sandwich is delicious!

My wife and I really enjoy this restaurant. The French influenced cuisine ranges from very good to extraordinary. The only shortcoming are the bathrooms which really need an update. Great bar. Great people watching. Live entertainment some nights. Wish I could give it 4 1/2...stars but, alas, that is not an option. A really good place my wife and I frequently enjoy.More

I had onion soup and les moules frites. The onion soup and the French fries were super. However, I was disappointed in the mussels. I was not thrilled with the sauce on the mussels and they did not live up the high expectation I had...after eating the great onion soup.More

Good place for brunch, feels like Europian cafe bistro, it's always busy during weekend'd morning. Signature cocktails are popular there.

We did not have a reservation as they apparently only do them on Yelp and we were unaware. No Open Table. As a result, we had a 45 minute wait, so plan ahead. Good thing there are lot's of shops to visit on Main Street....Parking not a problem. It is a cute place and once seated, service was alternately good and bad. Looking for our waiter after the food was delivered was tedious at best. Food itself was pretty good. Nothing earth shattering, but good. The bread pudding french toast was very dense and needed more than some Nutella to make it go down. It was delivered without the listed maple syrup which is desperately needed. Getting some while the food was still warm was a challenge. Migas were tasty as was the Parisien. Ample quantities of food. Getting more coffee also proved to be a challenge. Prices quite reasonable. The Main Street Bakery had some very tantalizing offerings. We would come back if in the area, but not go out of our way as we did.More
