Cute Place with a taste of Lousianna

While visiting Umbra Winery, we were informed by one of the people behind the bar that Big Fish was a must! He was from Louisiana and thought the food was on par to what he was accustom to. The gumbo was great; the entrees and dessert were pretty good, but the other seafood places in Grapevine and Keller probably don't have anything to worry about. The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is informal/fun. Very convenient if you're shopping in Grapevine.

This is a small café with a large menu. My wife will only eat fish tacos at this restaurant. They use Tilapia in there tacos.

Stopped here for lunch. Good menu but I've definitely had better seafood. Prices are a little on the high side but this is Texas and it is seafood so that's expected IF the food is good.

For my wife's birthday we went to Grapevine. To be sure we were having a table my wife decided to give them a phone call.."Do you take reservations?"No, was the answer but they would write her name down. When we came at the restaurant they remembered my wife's phone call and after a little waiting they gave us a nice... More

We went here with some friends, right after attending the gaylord ice festival. Our group was fairly large yet still seated quickly. I had the crab cakes for appetizer and the fish and chips for main course. Food was great, love the crispu fish and seared crab cakes. My only slight complaint was that the key lime pie i had,... We walked in on a whim during a quick trip to visit Grapevine's historic Main Street and were immediately drawn to the cozy atmosphere and the level of noise --due to how crowded it was. And it smelled wonderful. We were seated immediately. Above us was a chalkboard with the day's specials on it -- cream of jalapeño soup? That's... More

We had some of the best raw oysters I've had outside of Seattle. All the seafood was very fresh and perfectly cooked. Plus, the service was friendly and superb!

While vacationing in Grapevine, we decided to reach outside the restaurants in our resort and try something different. Downtown is a very busy area, especially right before Christmas, so I was skeptical. Big Fish is a very small place, but we were able to get in within 15 minutes at dinner time. It has a really cool atmosphere and I... More

I used to go to Joe's Crab Shack and places like that to eat crab legs or crab cakes, shrimp, etc.... But once theose prices started to go up I had to find an alternative and I hit this place. I am INSANE about their "broccoli slaw", their crab legs platter will keep you busy for a while where you... More
