We visited this great little restaurant while on holidays in Texas. I googled trying to find an 'authentic texan food' restaurant as most of the ones we seemed to find were chain restaurants. So glad i found this one! It was everything i imagined the decor was an old style america diner type which made it cute and feel authentic!... More

Old folk food and atmosphere. Love the fried green beans though. That is about all I have to say about that.

Theo's really know how to do Breakfast. Even at 8:00 PM. The pancakes are like mom use to make, and their Bacon and Sausage taste like Home

Outstanding home-style cooking is always a nice change from the national chains. Food seems to be freshly prepared and hot food is served hot. Prices are quite reasonable. The parking lot was full at lunch-time but I didn't have to wait to get a seat. Carry-out works well, too. Service is friendly. The menu has many offerings from burgers and... More

Theo's never disappoints. I've eaten here many times and The food has always been hot and tasty. This evening our table of 3 had 2 omelettes and a soup and salad combination. So good.

The wait staff is very friendly. Most of the customers are local. I liked the meatloaf, stew, and chocolate silk pie.

Always busy, however, well worth the short wait. Always polite and service is quick. The food is simple but great. Great value as well. Well worth the visit.

When I am in town on business I make it a point to always stop in and get the best home-cooked meals. Everything is always fresh. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the management goes out of their way to make you feel at home.

I've been working in Grand Prairie for years and only recently heard about Theo's. Since trying it the first time, I've been back three other times. The atmosphere is very retro, it reminds me of going to diners with my dad back in the 70s. They have great lunch specials to choose from every weekday. The service is usually fast,... More

Heard about this place from old time residents of the City and thought we would give it a try. Came on a Friday evening and it was a busy place. There was a full menu with a variety including vegetarian. Had one of my old favorites (Chicken Fried Steak), it was lightly breaded and appeared to be "hand made", not... More
