Different kind of breakfast & lunch place, you order & pay for your food, get your own coffee & drinks. Surrounded by these amazing pastries, pies, & cookies!. It's a diner inside a 150 year old bakery! Coffee was fantastic (Farinas should take lessons), homemade baked cinnamon bread & sourdough bread were great.

My mom and I enjoyed sandwiches and baked goods, and they were delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing.

First impression walking in: unclean looking. We went in for icecream and the cashier who was taking money payments also was making orders. I saw her take cash then come over to us and put her entire hand all over our waffle cones using no napkins or gloves, just completely griped her hand all around it. Then she put her... More

The Nutshell is the perfect place to go sit and enjoy a great cheap breakfast. Grab a cup of coffee, and a booth next to a window and just relax. I have never had a complaint other than the fact that there are no restrooms. You must use the public restrooms behind the building in the parking lot.

When in Granbury this is a great small restaurant on the square. Food is great. Home cooking style. Ample size servings. Had breakfast. 5 bucks and it was excellent. I'm assuming lunches are just as good.

Very casual and no rush. My husband enjoyed lunch and a book while I shopped the Square. Great authentic BLT with Avocado! They were closing when my husband left and they distributed the pastries that were left from the breakfast/lunch crowd at no charge!

Excellent staff-good service and excellent food at a good price. Would recommend them to anyone. The French toast is huge, the cinnamon rolls are great and their sausage is the best in Granbury

Long time favorite for breakfast right on the square. Their lunches are really good too. It's great to go on a morning , have coffee and watch the world wake up.

We visited there for lunch on friday. We both had the lunch special which was Talapia, cooked on the grill with a lemon slice and onions, with the sides of potatoes and brocholi, a slice of homemade cake, and raspberry ice tea. I had lemon cake, and my wife had chocolate cherry, both were fresh made and delicious. The talapia... More

Quaint little place! WE had ice cream one night and milk shakes the second night as we had had a late lunch. Both were great. Others were ordering food that looked delicious. They also serve breakfast.
