This restaurant had a lot of people in it when we were there. We were looking for a place to eat breakfast where you sat down to order, but it was the kind where you go up and order your food, then you go and pick it up. You get your own coffee, etc. That's fine if that's what you... More

This place was recommended to us so we tried it for breakfast. We went late in the morning and no one was there when we first entered. Very cute place nicely decorated awesome prices and we had an outstanding breakfast. By the time we were through with our meal the place was starting to fill up. The cinnamon toast is... More

We enjoyed the bacon and eggs breakfast, and the price was very reasonable. It's always fun to go downtown to the square.

Traveled to Granbury for a little road trip. Stopped by this restaurant and enjoyed the meat loaf lunch special. Could have been served a little warmer but still good. Peach pie was especially tasty.

Nutshell Eatery is our "go-to" lunch spot in Granbury. A wide variety of options and excellent baked goods. Last visit we took home a loaf of freshly baked cinnamon bread. Super yummy!

Not the best but not bad either. It could be just my taste in food as many people love it. Give it a try and decide for yourself.

We had lunch at the Nutshell. We had the grilled pimento cheese. It was pretty good. It brought back childhood memories. The portions are generous and relatively inexpensive. I would have given them 4 stars but when leaving the Opera House last evening you could see into the bakery. There were bakers racks of pans that still had the pan... More

This place has been around as long as I can remember.... we always stop here on the way to Camp Crucis and on the way home. The breakfast is worth the trip and oh the ruben is GOOD... the marble bread .... yummy... I make egg salad at home but my family says it isn't as good as the Nut... More

My family and I ate at the Nutshell for breakfast on a Sunday. Their prices are OUTSTANDINGLY low. Less than 5 dollars for a big breakfast. The food is fresh and just like my grandmother would make. The best part was the genuine country service. The ladies running the place were kind but straightforward and spunky.

It felt like I'd gone back in time about 30 years, and not sure it was in a good way. The chicken salad sandwich was ok nothing special, tiny amount of chips. The chocolate chip cookie had no taste. Service was without a smile, both on ordering and delivery of food. Decor looked old and very dated, certainly not in... More
