We were fortunate to have our Thanksgiving meal at the Wildcatter Ranch Restaurant today. Everything including the atmosphere, the service and of course the food was amazing. We plan to it a family tradition to spend Thanksgiving here every year!
Made reservations for my Birthday dinner.
At restaurant no one was there to greet anyone.
Finally caught bartender who was annoyed because he was overworked.
He said he would seat us. Just wait.
Was told short staffed and had a wedding party in adjoining...room.
Food was mediocre.
Only bright spot was our 8 1/2 month pregnant waitress.
Not going back.More
During our stay at the ranch we ate here every night.
Food is good and reasonably priced. If I should recommend something, it would be the 'bone-in' giant ribeye for sharing … and the excellent service.

My wife was not too excited about the restaurant but I thought it was great!!! The one thing about the restaurant is that the steaks are mesquite smoked and grilled. This is different than a typical steakhouse. Here you will have authentic real smoked in...flavor with mesquite wood infusion. I thought that this makes the food even better. She just likes the typical steak with salt and pepper on top. I thought the halibut was good as well. The menu is varied and has food for everyone in the family. Only issues is that the food, especially the huge bone in ribeye for two takes about 40 min to get to you, but it is a large cut of meat. Dined there twice and we thought the service (servers) were not up to par with the service from the resort staff. They were not super excited about their work!More
First time here and heard it was awesome. Prime Rib Special was awful...next to inedible. Waiter was told it had to be put on grill to make it "medium". Never had a prime rib special that had to be "grilled" to make it "medium". Very,...Very disappointed. Certainly was NOT worth the $30 they charged.More
