Wow. Just Wow. What can I say that hasn't already been said? Well, as a retired preacher I guess I can always say something. This is the real deal. Typical of genuine Mexican barbecue the brisket is smoked on pure mesquite and the flavor is spectacular. The brisket tacos are topped with a slaw, the recipe of which is very... More

I like to do a business lunch here since the food is great and the atmosphere is unique. I suggest ordering one brisket toco. It is huge and you can get free bowls of brown ranchero beans that are great. That is more than enough to fill me up. Most dishes come out looking like something from a gourmet magazine.... More

Hole in the wall is the feeling, but it honestly has decent seating. It is the quality of the FOOD here, that is what it is all about. Not fancy, but DELICIOUS, always fresh, tender as can be, and astoundingly good. The brisket on anything, lncluding tacos and burritos (sounds weird right?) - the brisket is fabulous. They got this... More

This place is in a 1920's era gas station. Outside screen porch and unscreened porch for fining as well as inside. Lots of food. The food is hands down just fantastic. Mexican with a Texas BBQ twist.

From the outside, you could easily miss Del Norte Tacos, so if you reach the closed Chevron Station at the stoplight, stop and park there. Del Norte retains much of its former gas station, and that's part of its dive-restaurant charm. They've recently added live music on weekends starting at 7, so check it out. But it's the brisket tacos... More

This is a great little out of the way restaurant. Wife and I drove out here for lunch. We both ordered the special of the day, Spinach Chicken Enchiladas. The best we both have ever had. The chicken had a great smoked flavor and the sauce was delicious. They also have help yourself all you can eat beans. The beans... More

My wife and I tried the full order of Southwest Nachos as a shared entree, and it worked out well. Very different and very tasty. We drove to Godley simply to stop at Del Norte, and it was worth it. This small establishment has a great feel also, something we value. The staff had great energy. Next time we will... More

I love to try different restaurants. I am always looking for that Diamond in the rough but most of the time all I find is a lump of Coal. My wife is a good sport but she thinks food is for fuel only that's the reason for the statement of "Here we go again". To make matters worse it was... More

And did I mention the crockpot of fresh homemade pintos with endless refills??? Yes that's right folks all the beans one could eat! The salsa is on point and the... More

Anything on the menu here is outstanding. Take your choice as you cannot go wrong. The beans that are free are the absolute best on the planet. The Monday special which is the stuffed Baked Potato is the best ever. Large and topped off with great cheese and all the fixings. I love everything here. Chris the owner truly is... More
