My wife and I visited on Saturday night, it was kinda crowded and we waited hours for our food because we arrived kinda late.. I recommend if your going on a weekend day to arrive early. The food was great and the waitress and bar tender are very hard workers and friendly. You can always enjoy a few drinks and... More

As everyone says, family style on picnic benches is most of the seating. Food servings are very large and very good. Most people can't finish their plates, although I did! Had the small burger which is still 3/4lb, with a side and beer, under $20 with tip! I'll be back, getting the big burger next time which is 1.25lbs! It... More

Whenever we visit the area we like to go to Loco Coyote. The food is fabulous but be prepared to share as everything is BIG. Dont' pass up an order of onion rings for the table.

We used Loco Coyote to cater a dinner for 40 people and they did an outstanding job. Everything was packed up and ready to go when we arrived for pickup and the food got rave reviews. We probably could have used a little help with portions--we had tons of leftovers--but that's not a bad problem to have. The person we... More

Large hamburger is a pound and a quarter of beef, the small is three-quarters of a pound. Barbecue, chicken-fried steak, catfish, etc. portions seem similarly sized. Not your place if you are into fine dining -- tin roof, wood shavings on the floor, country music posters on the walls, hardwood benches -- but this is the place for tying on... More

This is a great place to go eat. We have had a lot of great experiences here rather it's date night for my husband and I, family comes into town or a good place to take friends to eat. The portions are huge so my husband and I usually share. My son loves coloring the coyote picture. In the spring... More

I have been going here since I was 13. The food on each plate will feed a family, so if you have never been ask for the onion rings and any dessert... :) What great food and memories.

You can go as you are after a day out in the sun exploring. Portions were huge so definitely share, even with new friends you make while eating at community tables! The brisket was amazing. and we heard hamburgers are delish! There was live music, (Saturday night) and cold beer!

Was visiting Dinosaur Valley State Park and spent the night in Glen Rose. Began searching for a "good" place and found Loco Coyote. It was a Saturday night and knowing nothing about the place, soon discovered that's where everybody was! Their sign says, "This is not a, "Life in the Fast Lane" place! If you are in a hurry or...
