You can go as you are after a day out in the sun exploring. Portions were huge so definitely share, even with new friends you make while eating at community tables! The brisket was amazing. and we heard hamburgers are delish! There was live music, (Saturday night) and cold beer!

Was visiting Dinosaur Valley State Park and spent the night in Glen Rose. Began searching for a "good" place and found Loco Coyote. It was a Saturday night and knowing nothing about the place, soon discovered that's where everybody was! Their sign says, "This is not a, "Life in the Fast Lane" place! If you are in a hurry or... We tried the ribs, pulled pork, sausage, sliced beef, onion rings, cheesy corn, potato salad and beans. Every bite was flavorful, tender and worth the trip. Very casual setting, wood shavings on the floor. They have outdoor seating too with big fans. Wait staff very pleasant. All of this cost $36.00 and we took home another meal for us. Very... More

Rural themed, nice people, courtesy recreational biker destination. The special was BBQ sandwich and a side $6.99. The beef brisket was fantastic and HUGE!!! Both the pinto beans and the Cole slaw were great. The beer is cold and the patio was open. It is an out door style patio restaurant ... There is an indoor enclosure that was darker... More

We were visiting my college age daughter in Stephenville and she insisted we had to try Loco Coyote. We loved it. The portions were huge! I shared the Aussie burger with my husband, and we still could not eat all of it! Could have something to do with the appetizer we had (chips and salsa). We didn't come close to... More

Went to Loco Coyote to have lunch with my husband, sister, and my 4 year old grandson -- most little ones are picky eaters my grandson is the worse. MickeyD's is his place to eat so we stop on our way and got him a hamburger and drink. We went in Loco Coyote, order our drinks and food waitress comes... More

My kids suggested that we try this BBQ restaurant near Glen Rose. It was early in the day so we headed off to find this place they had bragged about. It is off the beaten path a few miles south of Glen Rose but the sandwiches are very good, the BBQ is quite good, although my personal preference is for... More
