Reading the Reviews I guess it could be hit or miss, But both times we visited It was relaxed and we enjoyed the live music on the patio, I thought the Food was Good (burger and Fries) and The drinks were adequate. The staff were friendly and pretty much stayed on top of things with our food and drinks. Being... More

It's just plain not good. Such potential but not even close to reaching it. Tastes like a short order cook made it. Over cooked steaks and menu showed items they haven't had for three weeks.

We chose Hollywood as our late night dinner because we wanted a sit down place with good old comfort food. THe menu was very brief and the food was ok. It was a charming little place and seemed to be popular with the locals. The service was good.

I stopped there with my wife and 3 small children because it looked like an interesting place. We ordered an appetizer of loaded fries and got fries with melted shredded cheese on them and nothing else. They claimed to be out of everything else that goes on them. We ordered 2 corn dogs and two chicken fried steaks. Half the... More

This was our "Plan B" because Pickle Burger was closed. According to the owner, "they were SWAMPED due to spring Break and it would be a while on food" The place was half empty. The food was fresh from the Freezer. The hamburgers were crunchy and the French fries undercooked. Service was worse than poor. Asked 2 different waitresses twice... More

Went here for lunch and it was not good. The food was average at best. The waitress was real nice and friendly but the service was REAL slow. We have been here before and it was good but it seemed to have gone downhill on the restaurant side of things. If you want to go here and hangout and just... More

If you have been to Glen Rose, then you probably know most things seem to close early. We were on day 2 of a vacation, so we were not wanting to head back to the hotel at 7pm. After driving for awhile searching for a bar to hang out in, we found the Hollywood. Huge back patio, where we went... More

The wife and I split the chicken fried steak which was actually quite good. As mentioned in other reviews, the service was a little slow, but manageable. Deducted a star because we were looking for a place to get out of the July Texas heat and unfortunately, their air conditioning just wasn't able to keep up, leaving us uncomfortablely warm... More
