My friend and I stopped in after a visit to the Creation Evidence Museum and on our way back to Ft Worth. We were thrilled. It was unique and so well decorated that we had to walk around and take everything in. The food was great too! My friend had a Reuben while I had a salad. Both were excellent... More

Stopped here after reading about it on Trip Advisor. The peach tea and chicken salad sandwich was perfect for me. Everyone in my family ordered something different and all were satisfied. Interesting library cafe with plenty books.

My son and I stopped here for lunch one day after we got tired of cooking at our campsite in the state park. The food was well prepared and the iced coffee hit the spot! The decor is adorable and I wish I could sit and read all the books!

My husband and I were exploring the area earlier this week and came across the Storiebook Cafe in Glen Rose. The cafe occupies an old gas station property, but we found a place to park and pulled in. When we opened the door, I stopped in my tracks. Books lined the walls and spilled from old bookcases groaning under their... More

We love finding unexpected gems and this restaurant definitely qualifies! Food and service was great, the quart jar of iced tea was appreciated but the ambiance was the clincher. There's a play area for little ones while parents relax at nearby tables.

I had lunch here with a friend. The food was good but the ambience was even better! This used to be a book store. The cafe still sells books, used and new. The rooms are decorated thematically and the entire atmosphere is just wonderful. We spoke to the owner as we were checking out and she was very friendly. Just... More

This place was so cool. My kids loved the play area, looking at all the teapots, and reading through all the random material everywhere! The food was really quite good, also. Nothing mind blowing, but great sandwiches, drinks, and desserts. The staff was super friendly and I LOVED all the books everywhere!

This was a great place for our family to eat lunch after doing a lot of walking in Glen Rose. The food was great, service was friendly, and it is definitely kid friendly. They had a play area for kids to hang out while waiting for the food to arrive. Will definitely come here again.

Maybe my wife and I were just looking for something like this. The setting is like a traditional library, full of traditional and modern literature. My wife had a turkey bacon ranch wrap, garden herb tortilla, with a baked potato soup. I had a turkey club with a broccoli cheddar soup. The food was hot and delicious served promptly. Right...
