This restaurant is a bit off the main road but worth the trip. Authentic Mexican food with great service. The suauces are very spicy ( read hot). The chips are nice and crunchy. Queso was thick and tasty. All the plates come out hot with nice portions. Give the tamales a try. And if you are a non alcoholic drinker,... More

Always good food. No need to try the "new place" if you want good Mexican food. IT'S HERE. Attentive wait staff and lots of locals always here.

Okay, I admit that I'm really picky about Mexican food because Mexico was part of my territory for years and I feel that Tex-Mex pales in comparison to true Mexican food. That being said, I prefer breakfast here to lunch because the chicken & beef servings are really thin and nothing is too exciting for my taste here compared to... More

We came because we wanted to use a coupon that we received in the mail. I ordered the chile relleno and my wife the tortilla soup. They provided us with chips and salsa. Both salsas were tasty and spicy. I enjoyed my chile relleno. It tasted very homemade. My wife liked her tortillas soup. It was fired with vegetables, shredded... More

My husband and I have been to Mariachi de Jalisco a few times. Usually, the food is okay, but last time was a new low. The place was dirty, the service was so-so, my food was not even warm. The waitress did offer to have my enchiladas heated up, but no adjustment was made on my bill. We were really... More

I read some good reviews - so we finally tried it. We ordered 3 different Mexican Dinners, everything tasted like a "TV Dinner" from the 1970's. No seasoning, Not even on the tortilla chips. The Portions were small - And half of it was not as good as Taco Bell. The enchiladas were the size of my finger, the cheese... More

I have eaten frequently at Mariachis many times for more than five years. Food cannot be beat. Carne Guisada is a special treat. My 92 year old mother-in-law demands that she be taken there frequently for the tortilla soup. Very friendly and efficient staff. Kid friendly. .

I don't know how many times we've eaten here, but every time we go, we enjoy ourselves. The wait staff always have a smile, and are very polite to all. Enjoy having the tamale plate, and cimichonga! Not that big on decor, so if your looking for great food without waterfalls, great art, and fancy table settings, try this for... More

Mariachi de Jalisco is one of our go-to places in Georgetown. The staff is always consistently friendly, the food is always reliably good, and the prices are fair and reasonable. We've never had a bad meal here! This week, my husband and I met at Mariachi for lunch, and, as always, it was great. The place was pretty full, and... More

Mariachi's has the most authentic Tex-Mex border food in the area. The food is good, fresh and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is ordinary but that's alright if you are just looking for a good meal. I highly recommend the Shrimp Mariachi.
