great service and great food. We stopped by several times while working in the area. We had breakfast and lunch items and were never disappointed. Service was always top rate. Would not hesitate to stop by again when we are in the area. If you stop by you won t be disappointed. Nice and clean with a good atmosphere.

The Monument is one of the all-time great diners. Their fried shrimp is the best you'll find anywhere. The chocolate pie with the crushed pecan crust is fabulous! Service is great, and Kayla, our server, was awesome!

Love the old building, a step back in time. We had great service. The food was pretty good, we had a hamburger and the King Ranch casserole. The KRC needed salt to kick the taste up a little bit; but, was still good. Another one to cross off the Triple D bucket-list.

I've been going to the Monument for 17 years and haven't had a bad meal yet. They have great breakfasts, salads, sandwiches. I love the chicken-fried chicken, onion rings, quiche, and Monument chocolate pie!

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I decided to grab dinner here recently. It is located in the old downtown area of Georgetown in a historic building. However, it isn't your standard 'cafe' as it is more an upscale cafe or restaurant with a somewhat unique menu. The service was very friendly and the food very... More

We had friends visiting from Colorado in mid December. Sunday morning, we decided to eat out. Georgetown has typical breakfast choices like IHop, Dennys, etc., but we chose The Monument Cafe! Now don't confuse it with El Monumento which is an outstanding Mexican food restaurant a couple of blocks notth of the Monument Cafe, and which is owned by the... More

The food is always fresh and locally procured whenever possible. Lots of comfort food to choose from. It's good food but wish they would rotate items on menu to freshen it up. We have eaten there all times of the day and service is always great. I've never had a rude or unfriendly server and we have been going there... More

This is not the old Monument Cafe. It used to be you would know the servers and they were friendly and accommodating - not so much since their relocation years ago. Food was so so but the coffee was the worst, most bitter brew I have ever tasted.

We had twelve people including babies on a busy Saturday morning. The service was great, food came out quick and was delicious and all the other tAbles seemed equally pleased. Love that they have their own garden and do fresh squeezed oj.

My husband and I have a once a month meeting where we have the opportunity to stop by the Cafe for dinner. We both look forward to it. The food is fresh, homemade, much of it locally purchased. The service is good - kind of a relaxed sort of place but if you tell the waitstaff you have a deadline... More
