It was not busy at noon on a Monday. The Coke products from the machine were off on taste. The pizza was ok, not bad not the best. The crust was good. We would return and try something different.

Found this place by reading reviews of places to eat in Georgetown, TX. The reviews were right, I'm from NY and this places does not disappoint. The flavor, crust and freshness of the ingredients were right on point. We ordered a Margarita pie and Veggie...pie, both were delicious, so much so, that we were back the next day.More
Popped in here a few times on our visit to Texas as we were staying locally. Staff friendly, beer expensive but good grub and very tasty. Lively and enjoyable.
Stopped in and was pleasantly surprised by the organic and healthy options. Portion sizes are for those looking to trim a few pounds. Lots of fresh veggies in creative dishes!
Great place to sit and eat some brisket tacos and listen to live music on the weekends. Be sure to go early because it gets really crowded.
Before driving home, we stopped in downtown Georgetown. What a quaint and fun small town square. After shopping a bit we decided to try a new local restaurant and were very pleased with our meal. I ate the root salad and my daughter had the...veggie sandwich. We both loved our choices. The salad was not iceberg lettuce (thank goodness) not a trace but a mixture of fresh crisp greens. The toppings were good too although, i would have prefered a savory nut topping instead of a sweet topping but it was good, My daughters sandwich was not soggy but had the right amount of ingredients and great bread. I thought, I got a side of homemade chips but did not see that listed on their current menu but those were great too. Clean, bright atmosphere. I would definitely and have already recommended this restaurant to friends who travel to Austin.More
Loved the ambiance. Reminded me of the bars in Nashville. Good music. Good beer. Good wine. Will definitely come back. ❤️🦋.
We happened in here. Had a good guy playing live music and the staff were friendly. We had the nachos and they were yummy! They had gluten free pizza on the menu so will have to try that next time. Only bummer was no gluten...free beer to go along. They do have cider and wine. I'd stop in if you are in the area.More
Dinner time around 630pm. We got the Texas pizza all meat was so good. Also spinach artichoke dip that was cheesy and yummy. At first when we walked in we thought it would take awhile because it was busy. Buy it wasn’t bad. Found a...table went up and ordered our pizza. Everything was out in 20 minutes. Great and fun atmosphere. Than live music at 7pm.More
No table service, walk to counter to order. OK tap beer rotation. Live music at night. Food is pretty good, prices a little high.
Georgetown is home to many aspiring singers and song writers. Roots, in the center of the city, is one of the places they get to polish their performances as well as entertain the public. The atmosphere is homey and very friendly. Food is available for...lunch and dinner - good bar food.More
They always have local music on the weekends and in the evenings Thurs-Sat. Food is OK for their small kitchen, but not really why you'd go here (although the tacos are pretty good). Sit down, try one of their numerous beer selections and listen to...music with friends.More
Great place for beer but they really need to enforce smoking policy. Very small area and 5 of us picked up and left the patio when two smokers came in.
Ordered a pizza and a couple of beers. The pizza was pretty good. The beer should have been colder. There was live music later but we didn't stick around for it.
Roots has a quite good simple menu with pizza and wonderful salads, etc. On Sunday afternoons, they have live jazz musicians. The music is enjoyable because it's not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. Call first to make sure that the music...is there, if that's why you're going.More
