We have visited Lins Cafe several times since we moved here 4 months ago, and the service and food is always very good. It is great to have a asian restaurant near the far end of Williams that is good. We have had lemon chicken,...fried rice, and chinese stir fry to name a few. Whether you eat in or get food to go it is always hot.More

First and last visit. Ordered soup and entrees (moo shoo pork, orange chicken, fried rice). Soup was delivered quickly. About 2 spoonfuls into the soup, the entrees were delivered without any serving spoons. Clearly, the food had been pre-prepared and sitting. The food was not...cold, but cool to the touch. In general, the food was quite bland. The orange chicken was prepared in a rather unique way compared to other Chinese restaurants. The chicken pieces were quite large...each piece had to be cut into 3 bite sized pieces. The chicken was a bit dry. Plus, the wine available is the lowest quality bottling at a price where one glass covered the retail price of the bottle.More

We love Lin’s Cafe! The house wonton soup is a meal itself so unless we’re really hungry, we split one. My go to dish is the Kung Pao Triple Delight. It’s spicy and full of meat and seafood. There’s always leftovers so lunch the next...day is super yummy. The service can be a bit slow at times but they deliver so often, we just call in our order for delivery.More

This restaurant has a nondescript atmosphere, but has excellent food at reasonable, competitive prices. It recently returned to inside seating after limiting its food to take-out during the COVID pandemic. I recently went there for lunch to find the place completely filled with diners and...with more people waiting. Rather than wait, I ordered a dish (Mongolian beef) to take out. As busy as they obviously were, I was concerned that it might take a long time to prepare, but they told me that it would be ready in 15 minutes and it was. It was delicious, and a large enough portion (with included rice) to make two reasonably sized meals. I will be eager to return for either a lunch special with several items of smaller servings, or a full dinner.More

i wanted to check out a new place for lunch. I am working from home so i called before i left and it was busy, it was busy till i got there. I called again the number on the door and they are not doing...lunch specials at this time. So i ordered China Town Stir Fry the dinner portion which is almost $13 plus i had to order my side soup separetly- it totalled to almost $15. When i received my order it was tiny, i asked, i thought i was getting the dinner portion and she said, that was the dinner portion. She said the lunch portions where even smaller. I felt it was too much money for such a small portion, i was very disappointed and might not be coming back and the taste was average. Its ok but not fulfilling.More

I don't typically write reviews, but I want this little gem to succeed. We have been very unimpressed with the choice of Oriental restaurants we have in Georgetown, but I read some very positive reviews about this little one, so we decided to try it...out for a small party of relatives. We ordered a number of different dishes and appetizers and evaluated them with our group. I even tested the system further by calling back and adding to our order. All the food items we ordered were provided. We judged the food we brought home as excellent. First, it was piping hot, even after driving all the way back home. The spring rolls were crispy and tasty. The Mongolian Beef was the best I've had in years, and we commented that the beef dishes (Mongolian Beef and Beef with Broccoli) were extraordinarily tender and tasty. We additionally had a shrimp dish that was very spicy but incredibly good, and a chicken dish that we all judged perfect. I have heard this restaurant was a little slow when they opened, but it appears to me that reviews back in January simply are not fair to the restaurant as it is now. It seems they've had time to improve, and I urge those who were disappointed their first try to give them another chance. Best in Georgetown.More

Food is pre-made and served cold/lukewarm. I don’t understand how food like this is “liked” . I have made frozen Chinese from the grocery store that tastes better.

This is our second visit as the first was close to the first week of opening. The first time food was good not so much this time. The place, small as it is, was packed with people waiting for seating and people placing to go...orders. We waited 15 minutes just order. We placed our complete order at once but waited 15 minutes to only get half of oIPur appetizers and drinks, another 15 minutes to get our food then another 15 after food arrived to get the rest of our appetizer. Do not order lemon chicken unless you like pounded super thin over crusted dried out chicken. Lemon sauce is the same as every other place. Fried rice is very bland and i was mad when i got to the middle of my rice to find a black hair in it. That's was the last bite for me. They need to revamp the menu and offer some combination plates.More

We are so very glad that there is a great restaurant so close to us. The food here is very good, and we have never found a dish that we didn’t like. I decided to just go down the menu and try all of the...specials. I do tend to get stuck on certain dishes though. The shrimp and chicken with cashews is one of my favorites. The shrimp here is cooked a little differently than at other restaurants, and is fantastic. I don’t know what they do, but it is the best shrimp that I have ever eaten. The Mongolian combination is another favorite. My only complaint is that a few times, my food has come out before my wife’s food, by almost ten minutes. I guess it takes longer to cook the orange chicken, but they should take that into account.More

My husband and I tried the newly opened Lin's Cafe near our home and discovered our favorite new Asian restaurant. My husband said it is the best Orange Chicken he has ever had. That is saying a lot since I have seen him order that...at more than a dozen restaurants over the years. I like the cashew chicken and the beef and snow peas. We are so glad they opened so near to us and will be going back again and again!More

A good neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I had a Szechuan dish which was nice and spicey. Service was friendly and attentive. We went for an early Dinner around 5:30, but the restaurant was not crowded or busy as we left. Will definitely return.

This is a one visit place. The service was good. The ingredients seemed to be of high quality. But the food was absolutely flavorless. The kung pao chicken was awful.

The Pad Thai was oily. The Trio with Peanuts (H13) was pretty good. It was later in the evening, so we will go back during a busier time. I'd say Panda Express is better. Ouch !
