Visited the sky bar with my wife and had an amazing time with great sushi and I'm very selective about the sushi that I consume.

Everything was just as I liked and delicious. Staff absolutely fantastic, helpful, cheerful and super sweet.

The sashimi, tempura and Sushi Rolls were outstanding. This is a small place so dinner reservations are a must unless you have plenty of time tho wait. Service is always excellent, food is spectacular. You cannot beat the deals on happy hour. Rolls by the piece is by far my favorite. It’s give you the option to try some of the best rolls they have to offer.

Called restaurant to check on wait times. They held table for us and had ready when we walked in. Sushi was excellent and we’ve eaten sushi at a lot of places all over. Husband had the steak, excellent with lots of rice and veggies. Son...has the Bento box and he had plenty of leftovers for later. Will be back!More

Located on Post Office, 2 blocks down from The Strip, downtown Galveston, this place is incredible. The sushi selection is impressive and the fact that they offer fish and steak options, too, makes the experience just perfect. My wife and I stopped by and we...were very impressed with the place. From a pure food and service standpoint I’d give this place a 5, but they allow patrons to smoke in the outside eating area. The couple next to us lit up non stop which totally ruined our dining experience. Ownership could easily prohibit smoking. Statistically...a lot more people don’t smoke so they’d be catering to the majority if they prohibited smoking. People should be able to enjoy a meal without constant smoke being blown in their direction. Would we go back? Probably, but we’d sit inside.More

I wish I had more of an experience to share but unfortunately we waited for over 20 minutes (the ONLY people on the waiting list) for a table for four only to have a snotty waitress give the newly open table to a couple that...JUST WALKED in the door. When I told her that we had been waiting, she said she didn't know but I pointed to the reservation list on the hostess stand and that we were clearly the ONLY ones on there. She said I guess we will have to move you guys to the couple and I walked out to get my family. I saw her walk out to the restaurant next door and then looked in and the two people had not moved to a two person table but was STILL sitting at a large table (the only one in the place) instead of being moved. I could NOT believe it. I have never been treated with such little regard!!! We are polite, kind, and very generous tippers. I guess they don't care very much about having a good reputation or gaining new customers. And this was on a MONDAY!!! I can't imagine the service when it is actually busy. Extrememly offended and disappointed. Will never return. We will also not be going to any of their sister restaurants like the Gumbo Bar.More
