Not authentic Mexican, but very good Tex mex for a reasonable price. Also has very good service and salsa with many lunch specials. Would recommend.

Quaint location, pleasant service. Like other reviewers, you just wish they'd warm up those chips. We enjoyed the salsa, as it reminded us of the old El Fenix restaurants of our youth.

We ate here three times in four days. Amazing Mexican food. They had veggie fajitas which were delicious in addition to three other veggie options.
The restaurant is close to UTMB Galveston and close to the Strand but also near the beach. My friend and I had lunch there on 7/7. Best Mango Margarita I have had. Food was plentiful and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back again.
