I had a kids meal (less than $6) and it was HUGE! I had pulled pork, my husband had smoked turkey cliffhanger and we were both impressed!!! Deliciousness!!!! Fudge brownie dessert was amazing although we didn't have much room for it.... I will definitely be back!!!!!

Well, it had been some time since we visited Queen's...a friend said she saw review in Texas Monthly so we stopped in to check it out. Well, we were surprised! Delicious chopped beef barbeque sandwich...ice cream was good too...peach cobbler as well (don't like cinammon in my peach cobbler but at least it wasn't overdone)...The restaurant is really clean--and so... Mac and cheese was outstanding, green beans very tasty, not overly thrilled with the beef, but will come back and try another meat, clean, friendly staff, good location, nice atmosphere

My wife and I visited Queens on our last visit to Galveston and we loved it. The food was great and lots of it. The stuffed brisket baked potato was so good, also the ribs and sausage were just what we were looking for. This is just good smokehouse BBQ without smoking the meat to death like some do. We... I went there with my boyfriend and his parents since they haven't tried barbecue before, the food was really good at a fair price and the attention was great they were really nice and we all loved their suggestions. If you are looking for a barbecue i strongly recommend it.

You can smell the place from across the street and it smelled GREAT. The staff were friendly (family owned and operated) and the food was excellent. After a meal here, we did not need to eat for the rest of the day,

Wife had stuffed sweet potato. She loved it. I had the rib dinner. It was dry and tough to chew. My sides were fine. I complained to the order taker about the ribs and that I couldn't even finish them. I told her I would not be coming back. End of story there.

You can't count it as a trip to Texas if you don't have BBQ. And every town has quite a few best BBQ places. Just pick one, and stick with it. I've been going here since 2010, and it does not disappoint. Rough around the edges in all the right ways, authentic as you'll get I think.

Food is reasonably priced and average BBQ. I have eaten here for six years and suddenly found a 35 cent charge for a glass of water. Cashier stated they've always charged it, but I've never been charged before. Not on the menus, either, and another employee said water in glass was free. Cashier was miffed I questioned it. Only 35... More
