The staff weren't to helpful or friendly. The place is clean and bright. Self serve drinks, place your order at counter and pick up your self, unless you sit upstairs, then they will bring it and what they think you'll need. There were many trips downstairs. The food was good, nothing I'll go back or make a special trip for.... More

I have to begin by saying that we went into this with high expectations, having read so many positive reviews. We were extremely disappointed. Granted, we were there over a major holiday, so some allowance has to made, but in truth, the staff should have been better prepared. First, we arrived for lunch a bit on the early side. The... They have the best tasting bread pudding and believe it when I say it. I am a bread pudding junkie. If its on the menu I am sampling it. Their caramel sauce is the perfect topping to the perfectly created bread. You will not be disappointed.

First time to visit this restaurant and was not disappointed. I had the chicken fried chicken sandwich and could not believe how big it was. It was huge and very tasty. My friend had huevos rancheros and he said they were different but the best he had ever had. Definitely coming back to try other items on menu.

We are so pleased that your food was excellent, which is what Farley Girls strives for on a daily basis. We have found that the paper menus by the door are helpful as our customers come inside still unsure of what they wish to order. Please join us again! More

This restaurant was so good! My husband and I stopped here before a cruise because it's close to the terminal. Being near the more industrial part of Galveston, we didn't know what to expect. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and I'm bold enough to say it was the best waffle I've ever tasted! Bonus: it only cost me $5!!!... More

My wife and I came here before our cruise left on a Sunday morning. We were not optimistic as the previous night we tried to find three local diners which were all closed permanently. From entering the parking lot we were greeted warmly. Our parking attendant was incredibly helpful and friendly. The building itself is a corner building a few... More

Had the chicken and waffles and husband had the breakfast bowl! It was delicious but the restaurant at 11:30 am on a Sunday was chaos! You don't sit down and look at a menu; you have to order at the register, so may wanna view the menu before you go! Also, you may not be too excited if you're not... More

We have eaten here twice and both times had good experiences. Creative and delicious menu items. Good coffee. Relaxing atmosphere in a neat old historic building.

Texas Monthly Magazine - "This bright, cheery cafe located near the Medical Center enjoys a legion of foodie fans. Weekday lunches feature great salads, sandwiches, po'boys, and one of our faves-tacos loaded with grilled fish, crunchy cabbage slaw, and a house-made rémoulade that brings it all together. On the weekends we return for a brunch of fluffy biscuits topped with sinfully rich cream gravy and a pitcher of mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ. Oh yeah."
