The food and service is top notch.. validated parking a plus - especially around Galveston😊. The chief made a special child's burger for our great nephew since they do not have one on the child's menu - much appreciated!!! The 2am Grilled Cheese was a hit as was the chicken salad and the shrimp poorboy.... Highly recommend this fun restaurant... More

We were recommended this venue by people we got talking to at the Sunflower Bakery which is neadby and also very scrummy. Farley Girls, like all Galveston good eateries, is off the main strip. It serves delicious food with a varied menu and great ambiance. A must visit for those visiting Galveston.

Come to Texas on business frequently and always end up eating here . The brunch on the weekends is a wonderful experience and the food is excellent. The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly. The food is something that you would not get elsewhere and that is a big plus for the restaurant. Would recommend this to anyone who... More

Have never had Shrimp and Grits. It was so amazing and can definitely be shared. Big portions and the Mimosa's were great also.

We had a great Sunday brunch here. Eggs Benedict with very buttery house made hollanndaise sauce (not the fake stuff some restaurants try to pass off on you). The potatoes served with it were not an after thought - they were redskins with onions and peppers and a little kick to them. The mimosas were great. There is a long... More

Can't say enough good things about Farley Girls. We stopped in for lunch and I ordered the shrimp tacos and my husband ordered the Mile High Meatloaf. According to him the meatloaf was WONDERFUL. It's been a week and he's still talking about their meatloaf. My Shrimp Tacos were also really good. There were 3 of them on the plate... More

I had heard about there shrimp and grits, but could not spend $15 on a bowl. They did let me try them and it was good. When I asked if they could do half an order (since I have had bypass) they said yes but it would still be $15. So I decided to share with my daughter the shrimp... More

Farley Girls adheres to other restaurants' policies of charging the same for a full meal when there is a request for a half order. That way, the customer can still take a to-go box home, and the point-of-sale system calculates the meal correctly. There is no excuse for your dissatisfaction with the small number of shrimp and the 'mushy' fish... More

The restaurant is within walking distance from UTMB and unlike many restaurants on the island, has available parking next door. The staff all seemed dressed alike, so you cannot tell the difference between one of the two owners and the waitresses until they introduce themselves. The prices are average. I ordered their mile high meatloaf with mashed potatoes and onion... More

Thank you for your kind words about Farley Girls Café. We are pleased to be such a popular lunch spot for the staff and doctors at UTMB, since we can serve them quickly during their lunch break. Texas Monthly Magazine - "This bright, cheery cafe located near the Medical Center enjoys a legion of foodie fans. Weekday lunches feature great salads, sandwiches, po'boys, and one of our faves-tacos loaded with grilled fish, crunchy cabbage slaw, and a house-made rémoulade that brings it all together. On the weekends we return for a brunch of fluffy biscuits topped with sinfully rich cream gravy and a pitcher of mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ. Oh yeah."
