Our experience at Gaido’s was nothing short of the right blend of attention to detail and comfort. The dining was exceptional and service, lead by Kevin M., was warm and will be a reason we visit again. Kevin was very helpful and had great recommendations....He really took our food choices to the next level and made it a truly quality dining experience we will always remember.More

Server, Isabella P was exceptional. Pleasant and on point. We enjoyed the jumbo lump crab cakes. The crab/avocado was chilled and fresh. The crab mac and cheese was cheesy and rich. Granddaughter had salmon and husband had grilled scallops. Both were pronounced delicious. Dessert was...the chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream. The cake was warm and perfect for the not-too-sweet ice cream. Yes, it's pricey, but you get your money's worth, both in food quality and service. Thanks Isabella.More

Our amazing waiter, Evan, provided dinner with a show as he told us all about the history of Gaido's, and explained all the delicious specialties. The food was fabulous: the crab stuffed shrimp has a sauce to die for. Thoroughly enjoyable evening for our large...group.More

A great night out. Good service, very good food, in a long established family owned favorite. First time in Galveston, a surprise city. Lot of history and good restaurants, in a seaside on the Gulf. Had nice wine, Mezzacorona, combination of seafood and ribeye, all...very good and ample quantity, served well by a young waiter on the job for 2 months.More

We come to Gaido's every summer during our stay in Galveston. This time our server was Richard G. His service was amazing! He made sure to tell us about the history of Gaido's and the specials of the day. He laughed with us and made...sure we stayed hydrated with plenty of cocktails 😉. We ordered almost everything on the menu and dessert to go. Everything was delicious. No complaints on our end. Can't wait to be back next year.More

Stacy made the experience the full package! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly- attentive. Ordered a steak salad - medium. The steak came out a little more done (medium well) instead of medium and Stacy immediately made a point to slyly take the time...to point out that the meat was overcooked (from what I ordered. It was actually delicious and was like butter) and ask if I wanted to try it first, or just remake it. She didn’t announce it to the rest of the group, but hyper focused on ensuring that I was satisfied with my order without ruining the experience for the rest of our group. This is what you call amazing service! Despite me tasting the steak (it really was amazing med-well) and ensuring it was ok the way it was and I would eat it, the manager promptly was delivering fresh, perfectly cooked medium steak to me in a flash! EXCELLENT SERVICE.More

We came for my grandmothers 80th birthday, she grew up in Texas and wanted to “walk down memory lane”. They opened the pelican room for us to do just that. The service provided by Stacy was better than I could ever have asked for. She...made my grandma feel so special, and she was so engaging and just perfect. I’ll never forget what she gave to our family in memories. Thank you 3000. ;)More

We had a very nice dinner overlooking the water. The seafood was delicious with a nice variety of options. Christina was a great server who provided us with recommendations of wine and preparation of our seafood. She was attentive but knew the proper amount of...service to not be overbearing. We would definitely come back when in the area.More
