ShyKatZ is a phenomenal spot for a quality breakfast. The menu is full of creative and mouthwatering options but I “settled” on the Benni’s Breakfast Tostadas. These were amazing and full of fresh flavors and textures! Crisp tostadas were topped with juicy mushrooms, gooey cheese,...creamy avocado, crisp bacon, meaty sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, diced onions, and flavorful salsa. This is the perfect dish for anyone who loves savory breakfast foods. Overall, ShyKatZ is one of the best breakfast experiences I have ever had and is a must visit in Galveston.More

Went for breakfast after a few friends recommended it. Three of us went and I’m sorry to say our breakfast was disappointing for all of us. Eggs were good, potatoes WAY overdone and almost too crispy to even bother eating, the “everything “ bagel was...pretty tasteless and the bacon was very overcooked. I must say, the desserts looked wonderful but it was too early to try them. It’s a cute little place but I don’t think we’d go back.More

You order at the counter and they bring you your food. We tried many other places but this was the best for breakfast. It is not expensive but very tasty. Places along the seawall were twice the price, three times the wait and not nearly...as good.More

Husband and I stopped for breakfast. Food was quick. Our eggs were perfectly cooked. Bacon and toast also good. Coffee delicious. Order at the counter, help yourself to coffee, etc.

A fun, cafe style diner. GREAT food and many choices! We had the Benni's Tostadas, Rigo's Breakfast Burrito, Granny's Breakfast (Pancakes) and the El Nino Burger, which was big. A few blocks from our hotel, it provided a great walk or quick bike ride. We...will definitely go back.More

I prefer to support local businesses. Unfortunately,Galveston had taken a hit with a bad storm and water had only recently been restored. I walked in and as greeted from behind the counter as another order was being taken. Having recently left Parris Island,I noticed the...pics of a Marine and checked them out while the couple was ordering and taking an unusually long time. I at first thought they were paying their bill. I noticed a menu and sat down and waited, waited, and had to read each item on the menu because of the fancy titles of simple items. I noticed the couple had finally finished their order but I had no further contact from the server. I walked over to the place I had gotten the menu from, and noticed a sign telling to look at the menu and order at counter. The server had stood there the whole time and did not speak to me after initial contact. I told her " I had to go read the sign to figure out the ordering process" she apologized. I asked for coffee. She said the only drinks were bottled stuff. I thanked her and left. After waiting that amount of time and having to fumble thru the procedure for ordering coffee and eggs. If there is not water for coffee, how are hands and dishes being washed? Is bottled water not available? The place I got breakfast from told me they were using bottled water for coffee. I probably would have enjoyed the food.More

We only peeked in because everyone was sitting shoulder to shoulder and coughing on each other, no masks by staff and no covid restrictions followed at all. They could care less about your health. Go anywhere else so you don't die.

We showed up late and they took care of us. Pancakes hit the spot. Picked up a king cake while there. Lots of sweet to choose from.

Quick, online order and pick up available. HUGE breakfast portions. Stayed warm. The breakfast quesadilla was a stand out as well as the rigos breakfast burrito. The smuggler was amazing, very flavorful. We overordered not realizing portions sizes so can tell you that it all...reheated well in the oven. They offered sides of French toast which were huge slices of French bread, that tasted like cinnamon rolls.More

Was looking for some good coffee on our way out of Galveston and saw the reviews for this place. The line moves very quickly and the coffee was delicious.
