They have good baked goods and some of the other breakfast items were good to average. We went on a Sunday and paid for the buffet, which was around $19, for this price, I would have expected a little more. Breakfast in general is cheap food to make, and at that price I wouldn't have expected to get powdered scrambled... More

My husband and I went for a date night. I had high hopes, as I love french cuisine - not an easy thing to find in Texas it seems. The ambiance was one step higher than an Applebee's frankly. The TV on the wall did not add to the intimacy. Our server, while pleasant and efficient, had to write down... More

Went there for the 1st time for Sunday brunch. Bad service, basically we were almost being ignored and had to keep asking for drinks, refills and so on. Buffet was also disappointing. Limited choice and no fresh fruits nor vegetables. I will not go back.

I recently visited Bonnie Ruth's actually they were open on Labor Day. First of all, no one ever answered the phone, then they served the worst most disgusting bacon I have ever tasted it was awful and I learned they had run out and were using some crap they put in their soups and not the Applewood smoked bacon they... Visited on a Saturday during brunch and what a mess! The brunch line starts about 5 ft from the entrance (where you have to check in) so there was. Terrible bottleneck to even get in the door to ask for a table. It's not the first time I've experienced this poor layout there as they've moved the brunch line before.... More

I am vegan and it is hard for me to go to many places to eat. I will say Bonnie Ruth's is very accommodating for those who don't eat meat or any animal products. They have a vegetarian sandwich that o requested no cheese and it is amazing!!!! It tastes like a philly cheese steak and you're not even missing... More

Good selection of various BBQ dishes. Brisket and sausage are my favorites. The sauces are to die for! Plenty of sides to select from. Good atmosphere Can't go wrong!

Coming from NYC, expectations were high and wish we could have caught a Saturday brunch but the meal we had there at brunch time on a Friday was decent. Nice decor, great service and the food and mimosas were delicious but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here. Maybe I should have tried the desserts which... More

Started with the steamed mussels very abundant perfectly cooked the garlic sauce nice and smooth with enough toast to absorb all the Savory juice. Second course had the lunch combo a BLT in the French onion soup both were excellent. They told me that every Thursday evening and have mussels for all you can eat for $10. I will return.

Step into the relaxed sophistication of an authentic Parisian bistro and sidewalk cafe. Bonnie Ruth’s Café Trottoir et Patisserie pays homage to the classic 'French Bistro'. Dine on Steak Frites, Moules Marnière, and Duck Leg Confit. Sip a classic cocktail at our Belle Époque style bar. Join us for Sunday Brunch and eggs benedict on the patio near the fire place, handmade blueberry cream cheese crepes under the rotunda by the fountain or an omelet with a mimosa in the sun.

"The vibe is undeniably French A starter of moules Marnière was served in a daunting cast-iron skillet, where dozens of plump Prince Edward Island mussels lay tumbled in a bath of butter, garlic, white wine and lemon juice. The seafood was fresh and firm, just barely infused with the essence of the fragrant broth that surrounded it. Another stunning entree was the skate Grenobloise."
