My family likes going to Platia's for dinner, especially when we have people in from out of town or having a small celebration. Not a big place, so you might experience a wait time if you go for dinner on the weekends, but they have really good Greek food.

Platia is my favorite Greek restaurant in the Frisco area. It has a regular clientele so expect a wait if you go without reservations, especially on the weekend. Everything on the menu is authentic and the flaming cheese appetizer is not to be missed! You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages, so that is always a great bargain.

If you want the big fat Greek experience, this is the place. The melatzosalata is fabulous. The dolmades avgolemono is such an incredible treat we'll often get several orders (4) a piece. Of course there's gyro and souvlaki. Finish with the best baklava I've ever tasted.

I have eaten at Platia several times, most recently July 20th. I had the Greek Salad with chicken and my wife had the Yiros Salad topped with Yiros, served with tzatziki. Both meals were excellent and quite tasty! One doesn't expect to find such a restaurant in the shadow of a suburban mall, surrounded by chain and fast food establishments,... More

The owners and staff here are very friendly and I love the food. Lunch and dinner options cover a wide range of Greek choices and I've never had something I didn't enjoy. The desserts are a must have even if you're just taking them home for later.

We went here after shopping at the mall/Old Navy to grab a bite to eat, but did not expect anything as good as what we got! You walk in and there are beautiful ancient decorations, stone arches, and the best smell you've smelled in your life! We sat down and it all began so quickly, the food, the kind waiter,... More

I loved our meal at Platia. The chicken was excellent and loved the green beans. All around great experience including service. Pricing was reasonable and it is BYOB. Didn't realize that we needed to bring our drinks, but will know when we come back, which I feel certain we will.

Amazing Greek food at Platia! My husband loves the gyro and gyro salad, and I have a few favorites. The chicken souvlaki is delicious, either as a platter or a pita sandwich. Spanikopita, Greek salad, and the avgolemono soup are all great, too. You can't go wrong.
