All reviews french kiss sushi shrimp dynamite yaki shishito peppers gyu bacon wrapped scallops filet mignon red meat during happy hour love this restaurant the wait staff freshness trio specials plano barbecue
Edoko is my go to sushi restaurant. Make sure to go during happy hour monday-friday from 5-6:30 to get my personal favorite rolls called the French Kiss and speechless roll at reasonable price. For my favorite roll off of the happy hour list, try the...celebration roll. The design of the restaurant is very elegant with beautiful chandeliers and white lounge sofas. This place is a fantastic place for a date night. They deliver great service, friendly smiles, and food in a timely manner. If you plan to go for dinner on the weekend, make reservations in advance because they will be busy. Make sure to ask if they have a new chef special roll, they are always great!More
Every time I’m in Plano, Edoko is a must stop. This time was a meeting place for dinner with a friend. She is allergic to shell fish and the wait staff took the time to review options that she could enjoy without an epi-pen! I...had my usual shrimp dynamite roll and chocolate cake to go for a mid-night snack or breakfast. We had a quiet corner to catch up while enjoying food. Looking forward to being back!More
The freshest and best sushi in Frisco. Make a reservation if you want to sit at the bar and enjoy creative handcrafted cocktails like none you’ve ever tried. Enjoy cooked specials as well. Something for everyone. Once you’ve been there, you’ll want to go back!
In the land of big steaks and barbeque, who says you can't find great sushi? Edoko has excellent sushi and sashimi - and does a pretty good hibachi grill as well. You won't miss the red meat a bit! We started off with an assortment...of their charcoal-grilled offerings: gyu yaki (filet mignon and shishito peppers), hotate maki (bacon-wrapped scallops), and yaki niku (sliced short ribs) - all were very good, the best being the yaki niku, nicely fatty, charred, and seasoned with a sweet/salty marinade like Korean galbi. These went particularly well with the astringent, dry Japanese beer. We then went with the chef's omakase. He started us off with a trio of generously sized rolls: a terrific crispy, warm panko shrimp roll; then followed on its heels with a yellowtail and crab meat roll topped with slices of jalapeno and hot sauce for a Tex-Mex spin (or appropriation ...); and a spicy tuna and fried crab roll. We also got a beautifully presented sashimi plate, piled with thick unctuous slabs (this is Texas after all) of tuna, fatty tuna, yellowtail, and salmon. All very fresh and very good. All this good seafood made me feel very virtuous for the next night's meal: a big juicy Texas-sized steak! Service was very friendly and attentive.More
This is my must stop every trip to Plano area yo get the shrimp dynamite roll. It’s out of this world & salivating just thinking about the dish! I’ve tried something new every time - all good options from green tea chicken to Korean BBQ,...but nothing is better than the shrimp dynamite. Prices are great, servers are good regardless of situation. I’ve been there both with a large group for dinner or by myself at a small table reading a book. Enjoy!More
Service is great and the food is very good. The Dallas roll was yummy. The prices here are amazing! The green tea cheesecake tempura was good as was the fried ice cream. Chicken yakisoba was tasty as well.
Every dish from our Shrimp tempura appetizer to our Makis rolls were phenomenal! My personal favorite was the Shrimp Dynamite Roll.
The service was quick and attentive, however our waitress forgot about our Edamame order and gave us one wrong sushi roll (but it was...delicious!)
If you love sushi you have to try this place, truly top-notch!More
