To my taste Tulla produces a baguette as good or better than any in Dallas, including Village and Empire.
Anyone living within 10 miles of tulla who has not yet 'discovered' it is truly depriving themselves.
I had to drive for almost an hour to get here, and I don’t regret a second of it. Their bread is easily the best bread I’ve had in the US. I also got the quiche and a few desserts. The quiche is spectacular -...airy, light, with a buttery crust and flavorful filling. The deserts were actually less impressive, but still pretty good. Overall this bakery is amazing.More
I searched for the best quiche in Dallas and this new bakery was at the top. Now I know why. I inquired about catering and Jennifer, the owner and pastry chef, replied promptly. I visited to sample some items and the manager, Sue, was so...gracious and accommodating. Today I served the spinach and feta quiche, passionfruit tarts, cheesecake, macaroons and Ham & Swiss croissants for a Valentine brunch. Everyone raved. Not only was it delicious and beautiful, it was of high quality. The quiche and tart had a velvety consistency. Not too sweet, just right. They took great care in preparation and packaging for transport. I highly recommend this business.More
I do not exaggerate when I say that Tulla Pâtissièrie and Cafe rivals the work of the bakeries/cafes of Paris and Vienna. I know because I’ve eaten at many. Tulla is truly a culinary jewel in Frisco. If you enjoy delicious fresh, and beautifully crafted...breads, macaroons and baked sweets, you should pay a visit! My wife and I have enjoyed the hot, buttery croissants with a wonderful cup of coffee. We more recently swooned over the delicious, delicate variety of macaroons, and the slices of buche de Noel were unbelievably (really!) satisfying with an amazing mélange of tastes and textures (REALLY!) Everything is made fresh on site, and you might enjoy the full-wall mural of a Parisian street scene while savoring your pâtisseries and coffee/tea. If you enjoy fresh, delightful pastry treats, go to Tulla now and often!More
I picked up several types of items for an office meeting, and everyone raved. You know you're in the right spot for french pastries when you hear more than one customer in the place with a french accent.
