You order at the counter where you walk in and then the order is brought to your table. The atmosphere is like an old style train depot, hence the name. The food is homey and well prepared. The menu is a little sparse, but what I had was well prepared and tasty.

Was in Frisco for business and stopped in for lunch. Got there about 11:45. Ordered the plate lunch special which was chicken spaghetti, corn, salad, and roll. Food was hot and fresh and super good. Shortly after noon the place got pretty busy, so come a lil early.

This is a wonderful local restaurant! I had a baby spinach salad, with grilled chicken and an herb dressing. I was on of the best salads that I have ever had. The building is the old train depot and the people are very friendly. I look forward to going back there.

Down home diner style where all the locals migrate to. Breakfast & Lunch is just like grandma would serve. Limited dinner hours but Friday can be usually made. Burgers, chicken fried steak or chicken, pot roast; they do it all very-very well. Breakfast is just as good!

Since we moved to Frisco a few months ago, we've wanted to try the Depot Cafe. It seems to always get rave reviews. We decided this was the day. Following church Sunday morning, we ventured over to the cafe. We had a bit of a wait to order and get a table. You order before being seating. Both of us... More

We have eaten there, mainly on Sunday lunch time. If eating with other than couples, the food may be delivered at different times. Very noisy if the restaurant is busy. Seems to liked by many locals for its home cooking but they don't do a very good job of that.

The Pot Roast on the special with two sides and a huge slice of cake is really good! Very friendly service. The decor inside is cute and not what you would expect when it's attached to a gas station.

Their website says it "...captures the essence of old-time Frisco with today's favorite comfort food." Well, the decor is cute but the food is awful. If their idea of "comfort food" is to open cans, then count me out. We each had the grilled pork chop plate with sides. The pork chop was so thin it almost had only one... More
