We arrived by 8:15 and the place was already getting busy. They have excellent Covid protocols in place with masks, social distancing of tables. The breakfast tacos are so good - the chorizo, egg, and cheese is not greasy and has a lot of flavor....I could pass on the everything bagel bomb, which is a puffed round dough baked with a filling. I would rather have another breakfast taco. We also enjoyed a cream cheese pastry that was pure comfort food. I would highly recommend the salted caramel/mocha latte and my wife had the Mexican mocha and loved it. The next time in town we will be back. Do pay attention to the days that they are open.More

Really like their breakfast tacos and coffee. Nice little place just off Main Street. We would recommend highly. Pastries and muffins are also pretty good.

Stopped in for Cafe a'lait and some baked goods. Fresh, delicious food served by cordial, friendly staff.

Great place to grab a quick breakfast and enjoy the morning. Delicious coffee cake and cinnamon buns! Loved this place!

While I wouldn't say the employees are extremely friendly, I would say that the coffee and pastries make up for it. You won't regret purchasing coffee here (we bought beans to take home; it was that good). Even the mushroom spinach quiche was great! The...location makes it easy to get in and out - or you can sit outside and enjoy your food. We plan to stop here next time we're in town!More

So glad you enjoyed our shop and the coffee! I apologize if any of us came across as unfriendly, these masks don’t make it easy to show a smile 😁, but we’ll keep trying! 💕

We stopped here two mornings in a row! Coffee was delish, the breakfast bowls were amazing, the sausage kolaches were great and we absolutely LOVED the breakfast tacos! Yum!

A new fancy place in a good position at the entrance of Fredericksburg. We haven't try coffee, the pastries were fresh and looking good, but definitely lacking some taste. Nothing special

I stopped in this place before departing Fredericksburg. It’s a quaint little coffee shop that has some really good coffee along with a wide assortment of pastries. I ate outside which is a good idea during these Covid times. Plenty of free parking if driving...there.. it would be a good place to start the day before hitting the nearby museums.More

We really liked the coffee here and I had several pastries which I thought were good. They advertised gluten free pastries, but they didn't have any when we arrived on Friday morning. My wife, who is gluten intolerant was very disappointed. I had already gotten...mine. Felt a little guilty eating them in front of her!More

Thanks for the review, sorry for any disappointment, but due to Covid, we haven’t had access to gluten free flour out here in rural areas. Keep that in mind for future reviews. This virus has not been good to any of us.

So good! Perfect for a low-key, lazy breakfast. Fast and friendly too! Definitely should be on your list whenever you come through Fredericksburg!
