Best burger around!

Awesome atmosphere. Great place. Always get the burger! Love the self serve. Kids always have a blast. I always bring people here when there from out of town.

Gigantic burgers. Crispy fries. Delicious onion rings. Alamo Springs Cafe is within walking distance of the Old Tunnel where 3 million Mexican freetail bats live. Have a burger and beer before the bats emerge for their nightly feeding then walk on down and watch the show. Had the portabello mushroom burger and could have died from happiness. Other favorites are... More

We were actually pretty impressed with the food from here for being a little cafe out in the middle of nowhere. We were staying in a secluded cabin near by and expected to have to drive all the way into a town to get food but this little gem was about 5 min down the country road! I love the... More

Juicy & delicious burgers. The fried avocado appetizer is also awesome. On the honor system drinks which includes wine, beer, sodas and tea. Great wait staff and friendly owner,

On a nice day you will find yourself among many other people who took the drive out to Alamo Springs. It is a great drive, and a nice setting, but there will likely be a wait for a table, a wait for the waiter, then a wait for the food. Fortunately, they have lots of outdoor seating, you help yourselves... More

Absolutely one of the best burgers ever! Good fries and onion rings as well. Get the jalapeno bun - not spicy, but great flavor. The drive is totally worth it, but if it's your first time, I'd go while it's still light out as it is in the middle of nowhere! Make sure you get the "short" route from Fredericksburg... More

As everybody seems to know, the burgers are the best! The atmosphere is usually a bit chaotic...because of the crowds. The wait can be long...which says a lot about this little cafe kinda out in the middle of nowhere! If you have a motorcycle - no matter how old or young...you have found a home. But so have us car... ASC is just awesome! The burgers, fries, and onion rings can't be beat, and if you want a great appetizer, try the fried avocado! If you leave hungry from this place, there might be something seriously wrong with you. Plan to arrive early for the best seating.
