We had a great experience, great drinks, amazing service from Marc and food was delicious! A vast and authentic menu, with plenty of options for carnivores and vegetarians! Really loved that their beans are vegetarian and delicious! You won’t be able to eat regular tortillas...anywhere else after trying their fresh made ones! A must try when visiting Fredericksburg!More

Great Tex-Mex! Everything at this place was spot on: the service, the food, the drinks...all of it. We wound up here when reservations at a high-end restaurant fell through, but we’re glad they did when the night was over. Everything was great from the salsa...to the seafood. Will come back next time we are in Fredericksburg.More

Mamacita’s is worth a stop if you’re in Fredericksburg. This is some of the best Tex-Mex there is. The service was excellent. They serve two salsas with chips: a traditional red and a creamy green. The chicken flautas with cheese were excellent and served with...guacamole and sour cream. Beef tacos were also great.More

We had beef fajitas tacos, cheese enchiladas. Fresh made corn tortillas and all the trimming. There green sauce dip is Awesome. The service was outstanding by our waitress Karolina never a empty glass and the manager Louis came by to see how things were going...and just happened to also bring out our order. Truely an awesome place. Food was very hot and so yummy. We'll be back and do should you.More

Absolutely would not return or recommend. My feet stuck to the floor when we walked to our table. The green sauce looked radioactive - lime green and tasted disgusting!! The queso was so nasty that we sent it back (thankfully they removed it from our...tab). Our entrees were not good and mine smelled like a wet dog. My husband is super cheap and he did not finish his enchiladas and wouldn't even take the leftovers home because they were so gross. I was so unbelievably underwhelmed by this restaurant, and it truly blows my mind that it has such good reviews. I have lived in Texas all my life and NEVER had such horrible Mexican/Tex Mex food. If you're visiting from elsewhere and not used to Mexican food, this is NOT how it should taste.More

We liked this place so much we ate here twice on our vacation. The service was great, and the meals were great. The homemade tortillas are amazing and definitely recommend stopping in.

As a Hispanic, when we arrive, We always ask if the hot sauce, is Hot. Waiters Know. They have THE BEST, hot sauce with chip, Plus the medium, For the Regular clients. That's a dead give away, as Hispanics, if we will like the meal....Excellent Nachos, The Margarita's, My NY, guest went nuts for as Our Daughter. Our NY guest had Never had Spinach enchildas, She raved about them, Never had Charo Beans, Raved about them..Over all was an Excellent Meal, and would highly recommend, & Return, form Houston...More

We were in Fredericksburg to have a little fun while hoping to remain socially distant. I was very happy with Mamacita's! The atmosphere was festive and the chips and salsa, with delicious red and avocado varieties, was great! I got a combination plate and my...dining companion got tamales. Everything was hot, tasty, and high quality with plenty of it. I was happy with the service and felt everyone was doing their best. My only regret was that I didn't notice the cheesecake until we were leaving. Will definitely return next time I am in town.More

I would guess it would depend on the night and time. Go early, maybe not.
