It's fun to see a menu that reminds me of my time in Germany as a college student. Some of the food looked like it might be closer to authentic than others, but there were some good meal choices. I had schnitzel and it was...More

I stopped in here for a really casual dinner. The servers were super friendly and offered great suggestions on the menu. I actually really loved the meal... I got the jagerschnitzel. I especially loved their potato side dish, the German potato salad, and their sauerkraut...More

Having been to Germany this year, not full blown German but close. In my opinion the subtle Texas changes make it better. Sausage & potato salad are great. HUGE sangria & Bellini drinks as well. Good place, good service, cool vibe.

Every time my family visits Fredericksburg we stop in for a quick bite. We usually enjoy a beer and an appetizer like the German sampler and the fried mushrooms. The burger with sauerkraut is a favorite of my sons.

The Auslander has a good balance of German style dishes and good old American options. We enjoyed Weinerschnitzel, sauerkraut, hot german potatoe, salad, and spetzel while the kids stuck with good ol' hamburgers. The staff was very accommodating to preferences and we were served in...More
