Love to drop in for a great glass of wine and hang out. Dimmed lights, romantic and quiet. Occasionally they have live music.

Great place to hang out, drink a glass of wine, and the cheese plate was a nice bonus. Great service! Had a glass of sweet red wine from Italy and a beer on draft. The jalapeño jam on the cheese tray was great! Modern atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great evening getaway.

With wine bars popping up on 'every' street corner, in order to have a 'memorable' experience, you have to choose a special wine bar that can give you the unique experience that you are looking for. House Wine delivers. The decor is unique - because it is for sale. The wine selection is varied and they always have something we... More

Stumbled upon house. wine. our first night in Fredericksburg. I was reluctant to take my husband in because he prefers beer to wine, but to our surprise they had great beers on tap too! We visited 3 or 4 times during our stay in FBG, and the staff was always great at recommending something to satisfy my request. We loved... More

We visited here twice on our weekend in Fredericksburg. Both times we had very good recommendations and excellent wine. We were pretty worn out with drinking sweet wine local to the area, so it was refreshing that none of their wine is from TX. We were able to stop the sugar rush and drink some good full-bodied red wine.

As many times as I have been to Fredericksburg I kept walking passed this place thinking it was some furniture store or something of that nature. When the Astros were in playoffs I happened to peek in and see the game playing on a TV in there. That's when I realized how awesome this little hidden gem was. My husband... More

First time here , it was Monday and this were quiet on the strip. Walked right in felt at home. Young lady at bar was very pleasant , knowledgeable and paired by girlfriend and it with great wines. Will definitely return. A place where locals hang out , they will share with you which places are best to eat.

Just to be up front--We don't drink wine but we go in there to shop. This place is soooo cute and well decorated. The owner has a gift for making the best industrial décor!! A must see while in town. The wine must be great because they have are busy but yet it is a very intimate place.

My fiance and I stopped in to check it out on our way to our regular vineyard...we never made it to the vineyard. Between the welcoming atmosphere, the decor, food, wine/beer selection, the staff and surprise interaction with the owner, we had no need to leave. It is a new 'must' each time we visit Fredericksburg (small tip for wine... More

It's a wine bar that serves small plates (tapas), cheeses, etc. Has the best lounge in Fredericksburg, and some of the best deals on wine in the area. You can try any wine in the place by the glass, including a 1990 Opus One!
