Calamari was crispy and fresh, suggest you ask for lemon wedge to drizzle. We added salt and pepper. Next we had a medium pizza with toppings. Pizza was hot, tasty, really good.
used to be a server so this vibes me no pleasure t the bartender/waitress was awful. The small bar area was empty. My son and I took two seats at the counter. We were not greeted. She had a scowl on her face the entire time until she laid the check down. She made a cocktail that I couldn’t even drink, returned it, and it was still on my check. I had to ordered a salad and that never came out. Waitressing is just not her strength

YESSSSSS!!!! This place rocks. We were initially a little scared as they were BUSY, as this was eclipse Monday (Apr 8th) and they were on a wait at 4 in the afternoon. We were told about 15 minutes and thought about leaving. 15 minutes later (did I mention they were busy) we were called, sat and had waters in like 2 minutes (maybe). The lady that took our order made a couple of suggestions, which we took, ordered a pizza with double pepperoni and mushroom, we both orders salads, and teas. The kid ordered chicken tenders and a lemonade. ALL the food was really good, and yeah I get it, it's pizza, but this was good pizza, and just hit the spot. I would drive an hour to go back to Fredericksburg just for pizza,, and maybe get something else for dinner.

West End Pizza is a staple in Fredericksburg, known for excellent pizza, Italian favorites, fun atmosphere for family and Adult fun. The wait staff are interesting, friendly, and responsive. The kitchen is quick. They have a fully stocked bar with an indoor-outdoor feel. They have corn hole and other games for outdoor fun. You may also eat inside, which we often do. WEP has a fun and clever decor and fantastic photo collection (as a tip, do not fail to visit the restroom, even if just to wash your hands!)
We’re locals and eat here regularly. We love us some WEP!

We went for dinner on a Sunday. There were plenty of waitstaff running around yet it took several minutes to get service. The waiter was friendly but appeared rushed. Both of us ordered the 8” pizza but after an abnormally long wait our pizzas arrived and were incorrect. They brought me the wrong size - a 10” and my partner ordered pineapple on his pizza which was missing. Also instead of letting me keep the wrong size pizza the waiter took it back and started over so I was sitting there with no food while my partner ate his pizza. Once my corrected pizza then my partner had to wait while I ate my pizza so the flow of our dinner was all wrong. Also I asked for pepperoni on mine but it was missing and there was sausage instead which I did not order. While I was eating I wanted a refill on my drink but our original waiter never came by so I finally had to chase down another waiter to get my refill. All in all the service was poor and the pizzas were nothing special so I am not recommending this restaurant.

We walked in for lunch about 11:30 on a weekday. One other couple in the restaurant, not busy. The host never smiled, then brought us tea with almost no ice. We both had paninis, which were so badly done, we barely ate them. My husband’s had the strings from the pepperonis inside his sandwich—they hadn’t even taken the casing off them. Pretty gross to have stringy wads of plastic in your mouth! We live here & will not be coming back………thanks for nothing!

I know they were busy so the wait won’t affect my rating but pizza was wholly underwhelming and the chicken Alfredo my wife had barely had any Alfredo sauce. It’s an ok place and good for families just dont expect much and you’ll be happy. And the wait staff, in response to how long it would be before my order was ready (after being told 5-10 mins 20 mins ago), said “you’re gonna put me on the clock?” Not ever again.

Stopped there with the wife after a day of wine tasting at around 4pm. We were a little pissed because Grape Creek Vineyards turned us away at their restaurant Stouts as we are not members. Right of the bat we liked West End Pizza, our server greeted and then seated us. The restaurant was half filled and we were lucky because at around five a line started to form up outside. They have an incredible array of draft beers, I chose a Shiner Bock and then we had their Meatza Pizza which was incredible! We are looking forward to our next trip up from San Antonio!

Chose West End Pizza Co due to reviews. We sat outside on the picnic tables as we had our dog with us. We ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and a small hamburger pizza to split as we like to try different items. A recent review had said the chicken parmesan was the best ever - not even close, ours was overcooked and the heavy breading was very hard. Maybe it wasn't our night for great chicken parmesan.
On the other hand, the pizza was delicious, small ground up hamburger, light-tasting sauce and great crust. Another disappointment was the service, our server was not the most attentive. It wasn't until the end of our meal did the server ask if we wanted a refill of water or even a water bowl for our dog. Oh well, maybe just one of those days... but again, the pizza was very tasty.

After years of frequenting this reataurnat at their former location this was our first visit to their new place. As in the past, the food was excellent. We had the calamari appetizer and a Meatza pizza with a side of meatballs. The calamari was crisp and tasty, the pizza (oven baked) was delicious, and the meatballs, served in a unique orange marinara sauce, were juicy and tasty. Service was very good, and the overall price was reasonable. There is a full bar with a reasonable selection of wine and beers.
The new facility offers 3 types of seating: traditional indoor tables in a restored old home, outdoor tables, and an "indoor/outdoor" environment with a roof, but open to the outdoors with heaters. A great family or couples dining experience.
Two considerations: Only on-street parking is available, and they are next door to another restaurant with a 3rd scheduled to open soon on the other side, so plan to walk a short distance during busy periods. Also, handicap access, while it is in place, is awkward if you plan to sit inside.
We were happy with our experience and plan to return.

Great pizza place. I ordered the small veggie pizza and a small salad. Did pickup. Was ready early. Both were very tasty. I ate half one day and the other half the next day. Reheated well and tasted just as good the next day, even the bread dough heated well. Also salad didn’t wilt. I would order again.

Their tomato soup is tasty😋!So is their chicken noodle soup. Their chicken panini is as good👍.
Topping all those is their “home made cheese cake” which is so smooth, light even if chunky. It comes with raspberry sauce. It is decadent without the raspberry sauce. It is toothsome with the sauce. Thank you, Mr. Funny Justin, for your yummy recommendation😊!

Although the name is West End Pizza, there is a menu with Italian food. We had spaghetti the first night and even returned the next night and had lasagna. Both were delicious along with the salad and Garlic Knots. There are many choices for seating....picnic tables out under the trees, inside and outside in a covered bar area. We chose the picnic table and enjoyed every minute. Service was a little slow but once our waiter came, we were well taken care of. There are corn hoe games outside and a giant 4 in a Row game for guests to play. We also noticed a small...very small picnic table for a young child.

We stopped in late night to listen to live music at the outdoor bar, have a snack and dessert.
Music was great, bar service was fast and friendly. When a table was available we ordered the bruschetta appetizer. It was VERY good!! Lastly we ordered the tiramisu dessert. Unfortunately it was terrible. Basically a mass of over sweet icing. Probably one of the worst I’ve ever had.

I was starving and cruising Trip Advisor when I found West End Pizza. It had good reviews so I checked them out. When I saw they had sun dried tomatoes I was sold. 2 sauces and 5 veggies later with requested easy cheesy pleasy I was ready! I picked it up with a coke, very friendly staff by the way. I took it to my hotel room as I had been working and was just too tired to eat out. It was frigging absolutely perfect. Exactly what I ordered
And the crust was great, not a cracker crust nor was it a pan crust, somewhere in the sweet zone I'd say. Thank you west end, wish I had one of you at home. I probably won't drive the 10.5 hours it took me to get to Fredricksburg, but if I'm ever back I know where to get the pizza. Thanks again guys. Great job. Mark

We want the pizza to be good. We aren’t tourists. I truly do not understand how a business can serve pizza this terrible. The gluten free was raw. The traditional crust pizza was very undercooked as well and didn’t taste fresh at all. We truly hole the pizza gets better but that unlikely given this pizza place has been around for years and years.
