Our first time here, in town for our daughters wedding and ate here the morning of the wedding. Really tasty food, nice people, not too bad of a wait. Would definitely be back!

After reading all these great reviews about how wonderful this place was and having first hand knowledge of how wonderful the pastries and kolochi's were we gave it a try. Very let down on service and food. Hubby's eggs lukewarm at best bacon looked fresh cooked with grease running off it but it was stone cold.Biscuit he couldn't even cut... More

The line for lunch is long, but worth it. The food portions are very large and you get a lot of German potatoes...which are yummy!

After a short wait during which we were enticed with the wonderful smells coming from inside we were seated for lunch. My husband had the Ruben and said it was the best he had ever had. I ordered the Schnitzel Burger which was excellent. Service was a little slow which is the reason for 4 stars. We also got a... More

Have eaten here several times before. The Opa's sausage, eggs, hash browns and toast were tasty as always. The belgium waffle was light and tasty too. The cherry crepes however were not very good at all. The dough was too thick and the filling tasted liked canned pie filling. Would not eat them again. As a side note, the service... More

We decided that we needed sustenance to prepare us for the long drive from Austin to El Paso so we stopped in. We were in luck because we only had a brief wait before we were seated at a table. We chose the Jaegerschnitzel and meat loaf from the nice variety of dishes offered on the lunch menu. When our... More

Have been here before years ago. Again didn't disappoint. I had Eggs Benedict which was delicious. The hubs had a Belgium waffle which he said was quite tasty. Come early as it fills up fast!

My husband and I got there at the very end of their day, and everything was still fresh! The salad dressings were awesome! We had the Wiener schnitzel, it was good. Husband said the sauerkraut was the best he has ever had. The pastry they had left was awesome.

My sister and I were there to pick up a to go order for breakfast, and sat next to the pastry display case. We could no longer resist so ordered a bavarian cream filled pastry with dusted powder sugar on top. As good or better than Mom made for us as kids. We loved every bite. And the breakfast was...
