Lonesome Dove is a MUST if you are in Fort Worth...and well worth the drive should you be in Dallas! Go in your Levi's or business suit... and they'll welcome you...nothing snooty about this place. The food is exceptional. It is in my top five restaurants in the world. The appetizers are extraordinary...blue corn and lobster hushpuppies or tenerloin of... More

I was in Fort Worth and felt it my patriotic duty to get the best steak in town. Visited three locations, but only Lonesome Dove claimed the steak was USDA prime. Note that it is not stated in the menu, whereas all the restaurants that I have been to before that served USDA prime were certain to prominently state the... More

... with a somewhat unusual location on the periphery of the Ft. Worth stockyards and an unassuming storefront, this gem could easy be overlooked. We actually walked right past it on the opposite side of the street while going there for dinner the other night! I'd read reviews and browsed their menu online, and was very intrigued. Inside, the atmosphere... More

6 of us ate dinner there and everyone got something different. All was very good. Bill was $650 with tip. So not cheap.

We stopped here to see if we could get a drink and were told to take any seats at the bar. The host also told us the bar was full service. We took our seats and waited. And waited some more. Our daughter finally asked one of the two bartenders if we could get a drink. It appears there was... More

This western restaurant located in the famous Fort Worth stockyards may not look very attractive but it's food and level of attention to detail are second to none. The service is excellent and the waiter knew the answers to all our questions. The food exquisite and the price acceptable. The menu changes constantly depending on seasonal availability. It has valet... More

We went for restaurant week just to check it out. Our service was impeccable. The food was amazing. The wine was more reasonably priced than expected at a place of this quality. The steak I had was cooked to perfection. The house made dressing was great on the salad. The desert was killer. We will certainly be back to try... More

Ate here for one night while meeting with friends living in the area. The service is second to none and the food quality is excellent. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for....

Dined here with colleagues, business associates, and their significant others. The companionship was only matched by the delicious food and excellent service. From the appetizers to the salads and in to the main entree, it was out of this world!!

Thank Ron L
