The menu changes on a rotating basis, but I have never had a bad meal here. It is also very reasonably price and most of it is very healthy.

This was way better than we expected it to be, and far better than most museum cafeterias. Here's my rundown: --Gazpacho: very good --Mushroom quiche: pretty good, but soggy crust --Kale salad: outstanding! --Fresh fruit salad: outstanding! --Carrot cake: pretty good. All for about $14.

In 15 plus years of enjoying the Kimbell I have NEVER had a bad food experience. The cold cucumber soup is outstanding. The catered events are world class. Great people, great food and great experience.

We usually take a break between the different galleries of the museum for a coffee or even lunch if time permits. The buffet always has some unique offerings and a variety to please everyone. The surprise is that the chef can continue to be creative, always an unexpected treat. The coffee bar has all the trimmings for a great cup... More

We enjoy having lunch here when we visit the museum, but we also stop by when we're in the neighborhood and not visiting the museum. That's how good it is. The buffet offers three plate sizes, with each priced accordingly. The food is freshly made, and the salads are creative and delicious. Desserts are available, but priced separately. The museum... We have dined at the Kimbell for many years and have always enjoyed excellent meals. We bought their cookbook so we could prepare their cuisine at home. The prices are reasonable and the large plate lunch is a bargain. The meal includes tea , lemonade or coffee and the wine list is small and delicious. There is also dinner on... More

The buffet at the Kimbell has three plate sizes and the medium will yield an ample repast for two for $22. This includes a cup of soup, assorted salads and a quiche. Bring your plate into the adjoining courtyard and enjoy the food, sun and a glimpse of the imposing Aristides Maillol sculpture called "L'Air."

The buffet at the Kimball has a rather unique concept. It offers soups, sandwiches, and salads . At the beginning of the buffet line, you choose whether you want a small, medium, or large plate and are charged according to the plate size you select. You can pile the plate with as much food as you want selecting from the... More

We are members of the Kimbell but had never ate at the cafe. We had some time to spare before the film began so we decided to have brunch. I am not a fan of buffets but the Kimbell's is very good and well priced. The food was more upscale than expected and the quality and quantity were a nice... More
