Benito's serves a very simple and basic style of Tex-Mex. They aren't trendy, gourmet, or any sort of fusion. One oddity is that complimentary chips and salsa are not served; If you want chips and salsa you have to pay for them. We got them and they were nothing special. Their refried beans were quite good, Mexican rice rather bland... More

My friend and I ate there over the weekend and was unimpressed. I had a plate with an enchilada, taco and tamale and nothing was a stand-out. It still irritates me that you have to ask for chips and salsa....just doesn't seem right! The margarita was good though. I doubt I'll be back.

A group of us came out on a Saturday night. It was crickets in there so service was quick. We opted for the queso flamado, who doesn't love food presentation? It was ok.. But the each time you tried to get more "queso" you had to have a fork and knife to cut it and put it on your corn... More

My hubs & I had planned on going to another popular restaurant, but decided we did not feel like waiting an hour. So we stubble across this place. The food was Amazing & the service was prompt and courteous. Would definitely recommend!

Great food! Not great enough to put up with the lousy service. Waitress didn't bother to ask if I was finished, just grabbed my plate. I said I wanted my rice she slammed my plate back down so hard my fork bounced and walked off. She had barely spoken to us before that. All the wait staff was occupied serving... More

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Great staff, delicious food with great prices! They don't automatically serve chips and salsa but you can order it, if you do so order it with the cheese dip (white cheese with chunky jalepenos?! to die for!) It does come with tortilla soup which is delicious! My favorite is the tacos... More

Delicious guac, chunky not soupy, large margaritas, beer in frosted mugs, and the best chili rellenos EVER! No glam, the real deal.

This really is NOT a Tex-Mex restaurant . It IS, however a great place to enjoy Oaxacan ( think Acapulco, Baby)- style Mexican food, like the Rajas con Crema (not your basic queso) and the Oaxacan Tamal ( pork in masa wrapped in a banana leaf) - both very tasty. Tacos, enchiladas & fajitas are also available and usually quite... More

Delicious!!!! The guacamole was the BEST I have ever had! I am a fan of Mole - the waiter and hostess recommended the Chicken Mole with rice, beans, & tortilla soup. This could have been the best Mexican meal I've eaten.
