We had Citrus chicken, a kinda tomato bruschetta chicken and good ole chicken fried steak at our table. All were delicious and plentiful. Salads were crisp and fresh. Being a birthday celebration, we ended with pecan pie, creme brulee, banana pudding and chocolate molten cake with drunken berries....yes, we waddled out! Some dishes were mid-range and a few I considered... More

We went here as an event while my sister was in town. Recommended for their view which was beautiful rooftop but the food was way over priced and nothing to write home about in favor or taste. Bread pudding was pretty good though

Embarrassingly, I was dressed in my running clothes and my daughter was in jeans and a t-shirt, but the staff said it was fine. Service was very good. Food was excellent. Atmosphere (despite our attire) was lovely. I would go again!

Overall, there's no question Reata is good, it's just no longer great. I'm nostalgic for the days in the Bank One Tower when the food was as extraordinary as the view. There's still a unique find or two here, a good way to entertain company from out of state. The old Caravan of Dreams grotto that is now rooftop dining... More

Even though we are from Fort Worth, we still love the décor and atmosphere! We tried some fun cocktails and the appetizers were all great (elk sausage, tamales and bacon wrapped crab-stuffed jalapenos). The steaks are tasty and cooked to order, the chili rellenos were excellent. We tried 3 desserts and surprisingly liked the strawberry rhubarb cobbler the best. The... More

We visited Reata on a random Tuesday night in August for date night. We made reservations but got stuck in traffic. When we called to bump the reservation to a later time, the hostess was soooo nice. Southern hospitality through and through. (Translation: they weren't crowded, haha.) Indeed, it was not overly crowded (at 6:30pm) but it did fill up... More

It has unique food, western ambiance, great staff, and an all round great restaurant that reflects the history of the area. Reata is local and as good for a business deal as a special night out.

We've eaten there several times and love it. The big surprise is the Jalapeno and Cilantro Soup. Sounds like something I would not like, but it is amazing! A cream based soup, I don't taste either cilantro or jalapeño but love it. I had it sort of accidentally the first time and every time since. I also am a fan... More
